"Location, location, location. A couple of hundred yards/meters from the old city center in an older charming eclectic neighborhood. Close to great restaurants and sightseeing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was of a decent size with a pretty view. Obrigado!"

"Quite quirky but charming. Very helpful staff. Central but not in a noisy area of town. Some rooms have only a frosted glass screen between bedroom and bathroom, which I guess some guests might find a little too intimate. The shared kitchen is available to use, except at breakfast, so you can make drinks etc. The big fridge for drinks etc was awaiting repair - hopefully fixed by now."

"The hostel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen/dining room was well appointed and we used it to cook some food. Breakfast was served from 9 until 11am. There was also a small lounge with a tv, a small balcony, and a central courtyard seating area. Free parking on the street is easy to find and it's not so far to walk to the town centre."
