Just a one night stay. Hotel is quite dated. It is according to what i expected for what i paid with the only caveat being the very poor lighting in the room. Those ancient TL light bulbs really don’t provide much illumination.

Basic room, clean, everything worked. Quiet area walking distance to a bus that runs frequently to the Arnhem station. No complaints. Nice staff. I would stay again.

Convenient stay for Hoge Veluwe
We stayed for one night on a visit to Arnhem. The hotel is convenient for Arnhem and the National Park the Hoge Veluwe. Our rooms were in need of some refurbishment. Work was already on its way on some of the rooms.

The booking details said tea and coffee facilities in the room but these weren’t available. When we asked at reception they initially resisted but when we showed them the booking details they conceded and gave us a tray of kettle, cups, etc

Room was cold. I mentioned it at reception with no satisfaction. Also not enough electrical power sources for the modern world. Only one socket usable. I wouldn't stay there again if i could find another choice.

Well located for major attractions.
The hotel is conveniently located off a main road with ample free parking. Ideal for visiting the Open Air Museum and Zoo. Restaurant meals are good and breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. We upgraded to a “comfort” room and thought it was well worth the extra cost.

Smart Hotel
Smart hotel, receptionists friendly. Just off the motorway so ideal for stopover travelling home. Lovely forest metres away for walks and bike rides.

Great to be back in Arnhem again. Even better to see my family again. Good place to be on the outside of the northern part if the city where I wanted to be for this visit. Very nice people to help you with everything

Good clean hotel with friendly staff
All Good. Older premises but well maintained. Not sure if there is A/C. Clean quiet room, good food in restaurant (nothing complicated but we’ll prep and served at the right temperature). Breakfast is regular: some more choice in fruit would make it excellent. Staff is friendly and customer oriented.

Set in a pretty location off main roads but easy drive to city. Caters to business meetings and large conferences mostly. The restaurant and lobby are very nice. Food voices good and price reasonable. The rooms are bare bones. Small shower, no tub. No shampoo etc provided. It was good for one night

Inconvenient location
The hotel is located in a very inconvenient location if you do not have a car. I got around by bus and by walking, but the buses run infrequently - every 1/2 hour - and the roads are not great for walking because they are all busy roads with lots of traffic. Buses to to the various sights - Kroller Muller, Open Air Museum, etc. all leave from the central train station, so you have to go back to the train station each time you want to make a connection to a different location. Also, because it is located in the middle of nowhere, the only option is to eat at the hotel restaurant. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The photos of the hotel are quite misleading. The actual condition is not as great as depicted in the photos and my room was much more outdated as well.

The Postillion Hotel was an ok hotel. I had difficulty sleeping as the walls are VERY thin and the doors slam when let go. I would recommend staying here if you needed a cheap place to stay for one night. Definitely not if you're planning on staying for multiple nights or for leisure. I do have to say though, the food was very good. I felt like they may have been a little understaffed for dinner as it took about 20 minutes to even get a menu. A thing to note is this hotel is pretty far from the actual center of Arnhem, this did not bother me at all, but it may bother another traveler that is looking to experience Arnhem. If you don' have a car, getting to a place to eat outside of the hotel may prove to be a challenge. The front desk staff was very friendly. I would say that is the best part about this hotel. They have a good staff to greet you upon arrival.

A nice hotel close to downtown Arnhem
I booked this hotel 3 weeks before knowing it would be a busy weekend in Arnhem. The hotel is right on the bus route which makes it convenient and less expensive then a taxi. The staff are very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and good bar and restaurant facilities. It was well priced, good parking etc. we didn't need fancy.

Great location & friendly hotel staff.
We chose this hotel because it was so well located on the ring road around Arnhem making it easy to visit all the sights nearby during our stay. Hotel largely caters for business people but this should not turn tourists off. We were given great service by staff and the hotel has a nice bar area and restaurant where we had excellent Dutch style buffet breakfasts and the occasional dinner as well. The hotel and the restaurant are reasonably priced by Dutch standards. The room was large and airy and comfortable and clean. Do not expect facilities like a pool or entertainment for children as the hotel caters for business people largely. However, our age group being the over 50's will find it most suitable and comfortable with free parking on site and free Wi-Fi, a lovely outdoor terrace where we enjoyed some breakfasts and dinners when the weather was nice. Easy access to local attractions and on occasion we left the car at the hotel and walked the short distance to the local bus stop where we caught the bus into Arnhem central, only 15 minutes drive away, to enjoy the shops and markets. The staff were very helpful and as we stayed 10 nights, they got to know us a little and we enjoyed a personal service from many of them. We recommend the hotel highly and will probably try one of the other Postillion hotels in the chain, of which I believe, there are 5 in Holland. Great holiday at a great price.

Exactly what we hoped for
Its a good hotel overall. The room was simple with no safe or mini-bar or kettle etc but it was clean, ample size and a nice bathroom. TV with BBC was a home comfort too. The bar area was spacious and the staff really helpful. All spoke good English and were friendly. Breakfast was pretty good, not huge variety or anything special but bacon and eggs, cheese and ham, cereal, fruit and a great range of really lovely breads. Location was really easy to find, we had a car so was also easy to get into Arnhem centre but walking would probably be too far for most. Quite with lots of parking it suited us. If you want somewhere to rest and relax before spending your day out and about then its a pretty good option.

Great food, handy location
The location (we had a rental car) was very handy, right off a highway and a main road into Arnhem. Yet the room (as with most or all rooms) was at the back of the hotel, in the woods - very quiet. We ate all breakfasts there, of course, and the selection and quality was excellent. Of course, we really enjoyed the cappuccino maker. But we also ate dinner on the patio there; the staff are very friendly and the food we had was absolutely delicious. If you are American, you will be used to thinking of hotel restaurant food as a last resort. At Postillion, this was NOT the case. Highly recommended.

This hotel was well placed to visit both Arnhem and Oosterbeek, the staff where fantastic, extremely helpful and polite. The restaurant food was great and inexpensive. In short this is a great hotel well worth using for s short.

We enjoyed our stay!
I stayed with my grandson of 4 in a double room. The room was clean and well equiped.. Wireless internet was good and free, which was very welcome as I had to do some work too. There was not enough space at the desk in the room to sit both of us, but as my grandson is still small it wasn't a big thing to have him on my lap while using Skype to call his parents. It was a pity that the bathroom turned into a small pool when we took a shower, it meant that the whole floor turned into a slippery surface, which we set to rights by spreading towels on the floor. Personell was very friedly. Breakfast was ample with a great variety. A very good place to stay as a family. Value for money!

Postillion Arnhem-nice hotel away from centre
I like this very nice hotel 5min bus drive away from the centre of Arnhem. Very clean and nice hotel. You need 5 minutes bus drive from centre using 91 or 231 bus. The breakfast was very classy but 14,50 EUR extra. There was also 0,55 EUR city tax extra.

Fantastic Hotel
Fantastic hotel - worth staying at. Rooms brilliant, free toiletries. Quiet location so guaranteed good night's sleep. Even had fresh fruit in bowls around the corridors for customers to take. Breakfast really good. Staff always helpful and very professional. Overall very impressed and would certainly go back.
