"I wanted a hotel near Kings Cross / St. Pancras. It is a 15 min. walk away. It is a nice, inexpensive hotel with helpful staff."

"Pros : room - spacious and clean. Staff - friendly and polite. Location - convenient and well linked with public transport and local shopping / places to eat. Cons : it’s a bit cheeky how many extra fees there are. Ie we had paid extra for breakfast but a cappuccino is not included. Service charges being added to the final bill on check out. Feels like a bit of a Ryanair experience - minus the low initial fees. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. I slept well and it was a great base to explore London. But the additional charges throughout soured the stay and made many of my interactions with staff feel a lot more transactional which is disappointing for a hotel which markets itself (and charges) as a luxury hotel."

"A lovely stay for my daughter’s birthday weekend. I’d popped a note to this effect, in the special requests when booking. We arrived to a room with a view of the Thames and London Bridge. There was a birthday cake, drinks (Coke and Diet Coke!) alongside a lovely welcome letter. The hotel was in a perfect location with various places to eat out and positioned next to the Tower of London, which we visited the next day. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of hot and cold choices and views to the Thames and Marina. Highly recommend."

"Went to check in and room wasn’t ready for a maintenance issue. Within 5 minutes it was ready. Plan was to shower, relax, and head back out for dinner. Shower and room were fine but could not get on Wifi. No wifi meant no TV. Went to the front desk and they sent maintenance up. They were very helpful but could not figure out why our room couldn’t get wifi. Maintenance suggested we go to the front desk with them to get a new room. Front desk said there are no other rooms for 3 people and there’s nothing they can do. I was put in contact with the service provider and I was on the phone for 10 minutes giving information about our phones. After a few minutes they said it looks like something on their end. They will call back with an update. Never heard from anyone again and it wasn’t fixed. Had to use 2 international phone passes on Verizon because of this. No TV for this spoiled brat so i struggled falling asleep. Woolf Bar food was good and breakfast was mediocre. Good selection of hot and cold items for breakfast but quality was just OK. Could have eaten better for half the price off the property. London was such a great city we decided to stay longer, just at a different hotel "

"Great stay in central London. Absolutely massive hotel, and my room was a long walk through the floor but was super clean and cozy. Because it’s so big there are a lot of people staying here and it could get kind of noisy; nothing earplugs couldn’t help. Overall a great value for the price with an extensive buffet breakfast included. Parked right under the hotel without issue!"

"This room was booked for me. I had the bad luck of staying in a room without windows. I didn’t even know that existed ! Truly awful and very claustrophobic because the room is like a box so small.The water bottle that came as a service smelled dirty and moldy. There is a green light that stays on even when you turn off the lights.l at night. It’s very bright and annoying. And lastly, the fabric of the sheets was pilling which made it feel like there was sand in the bed. Also - no way to stream Netflix or hbo on the tv. So overall I don’t recommend this hotel at all!"
