Before I review anything- Expedia pictures of the room vs the room in actuality are completely different. The standard triple room I booked (in city sleeper part of hotel) looked like it was from the 1950s, no Wi-Fi, electric outlet didn’t work, active painting and construction in the hallway. The picture of the room on Expedia was the upgraded premium triple room.
Regardless initially had a terrible shock with the poor status of the room and got paint on my dress on the way to afternoon tea. Employees were understanding but no one was able to rectify the situation. When manager Bakri heard what happened, he was kind enough to upgrade our rooms to what was pictured on Expedia. He was understanding and salvaged the rest of our time in London. My family and I were very thankful for him!
Stay away from city sleeper- I would rank that side of the hotel as a 1. Location of the hotel is amazing, its in central London, close to tube, British museum and convent garden. Overall bc of Bakri we were able to have a great stay after we switched rooms!
