It was a good central location for me. Near such sites as Bricklane, Spittafields, Bishopsgate, Skygardens, Hoxton and The Gherkin.
The rooftop brunch is fine, and a great view out on the terrace. Full bar and it's a choice of delicious euro-style plates (not a big English Breakfast) and the two that I tried were amazing. That said, I almost wish I'd done the brunch once and tried some others down the 'alley' located just across the street.
They provided a card to go in the room's electric-key-lock-thingy. (where another place made you use one of your room-keycards for that)
There's plenty of rooms and it can feel like a maze finding your wing, but I had no complaints. They stored my bag after I checked-out, which is nice. Very helpful staff if I had questions or needed a cab. DIdn't try the coffeeshop but the bar looked nice. The adjoining place was not open perhaps.
