"Our stay at Cabin on the Lake was a delightful experience, defined by its genuine antique charm and the truly accommodating nature of the host. The property offers a special feel with its unique patina, lending it great character and potential. We enjoyed a warm, clean, and private retreat in our room, complete with a very nice bathroom and a cute view across the road toward the lake. The location is excellent, placing us close to many different places, and we appreciated the strong, reliable Wi-Fi and the cozy downstairs dining area. Finally, the continental-style breakfast, served in a quaint atmosphere, was perfect, with everything fresh and tasting good. We highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a charming getaway with a gracious host."

"Unique and historic hotel. I love the antique decor and the staff/ owner were very friendly. No need to leave the hotel for meals as the hotel has a quaint restaurant, with various cuisine options and offers indoor/ outdoor dining. The chef is friendly and talented. He adds west coast flare to classic meals. The Captain Crunch french toast and patty melt were 2 favorites. He even helped jump my battery after I left my lights on! Easily, the best upcoming hotel in Deland."
