Unable to travel after being hospitalised following a dog attack. I did not ask for a refund but to change the dates to a stay later in the year. The hotel refused to make any changes or refund my money. I would have understood a cancellation fee but to charge the full stay is disgraceful. I will be staying in Athens next year but certainly not at this hotel.

When you first walk in, you are actually greeted by the spa desk. You need to travel three flights up the stairs to find the hotel check encounter. I think I would have appreciated having the hotel check encounter right at the entrance so they could also monitor who comes in and out of the hotel. Hypothetically speaking, anyone could have walked into the hotel at any moment which would not have made me feel safe. Otherwise the hotel is lovely, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the balcony we had was great. Smaller rooms but I have learned that is just part of European culture.

This place is right near the flea market and plaka area. You do have to walk through rows of garbage and a more run down area but inside is nice. The number one best part is your accessibility to the airport train and the port. Would stay here again.

The pictures online are nothing like what the hotel looks like. As we arrived in taxi, we were confused on where the hotel was including the driver. It turns out the hotel entrance is in a shady unsafe alley. Taxi’s can’t even drive up to drop you off. We had to be left at the main street and we had to walk through a very dirty and unsafe alley with her luggage’s. We were very confused because it doesn’t look like there’s a hotel there. We finally saw a sign of the hotel and we were confused again because there was no reception area or signs but finally another guest told us to take the elevator to the next floor to find the hotel reception. My friend had to stay behind while I took the first ride as the elevator was extremely small. To my luck, the elevator completely shut down. None of the buttons were working, the door wouldn’t open, there was a phone for assistance that didn’t work either. My friend heard me from outside the elevator and had to run up the stairs to try to find help. The receptionist was very nice but it seemed like she was used to this happening. I was flustered from the situation and all I wanted to do was get to my room but to our surprise, our room was not ready. At that point I was so frustrated that I didn’t want to stay there anymore. As we were getting on our phones looking for another hotel, the receptionist informed us that all of a sudden our room was almost ready. Since it was for 1 night only, we decided to stay. The room was very disappointin

Perfect spot for our quick layover in Athens. We made the most of our last few hours being close to all the action and amazing food - thank you for the reco; Zampano was delicious and came with a hotel discount - strongly reco. Both the hotel and restaurant!

The hotel is very modern and 'instagrammable'. It is located down an alley up several flights of stairs, with reception on the third floor. The lift is horrifically small to get up to the reception with luggage. Staff were friendly and the room was nice but not quite as expected (no balcony). It had good toiletry products and a lovely hot shower. The breakfast was unfortunately abysmal - you choose a breakfast meal and have access to coffee and some cereals/bread/jam/cake. While the food was nice, the service was very bad and slow (this is not a place to eat quickly before getting to the airport). Better hospitality and options including decaff coffee and greek yoghurt would enhance the quicker 'self service' part of the breakfast.
