We did acknowledge the lint and hair on the pullout bed bottom sheet which we explained was probably due to being dried in a commercial dryer, thereby collecting lint etc from other fabrics. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We expressed our sincere apologies and we were somewhat embarrassed to say the least. As already advised, we have contacted the company which services our linen. Please rest assured that the sheets were fresh and clean! We would never reuse soiled sheets!! We recently had a problem with ants owing to the hot dry weather of late and advise that the apartment has been sprayed regularly to address the issue. We apologize for the ants ostensibly dying during your stay. We discovered several dead ants near the bedroom window ledge after you checked out. The bottle of wine we gave to you was a token expressing our apologies for any inconvenience caused and we so wish that you had brought the other issues you have chosen to raise(be they somewhat exaggerated!} to our attention while you were here. The apartment was professionally cleaned a week ago as well as in between guests arriving since then. With all due respect, it would be difficult to detect the presence of ants on the dark grey carpet throughout the apartment. Nonetheless, the carpet is vacuumed on a daily basis. Admittedly, the apartment was a tight squeeze for 4 of you. It is usually for a maximum of three guests. We regret that your stay was not to your satisfaction. We did our best and felt that we had addressed your concerns while you were here. Warm Regards Robert
