"The people is extremely warm and welcoming, including reception and the lady serving us from check in to dining. The young lady can speak english, we have a great time there. We use the public onsen before dinner so there are not much people. The private onsen in the room also great, but will be a bit small if two people bath together. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want to experience Japanese traditional onsen culture and dining. "

"This is a bit run down onsen hotel but still has an old charm. Onsen is, quite naturally, very nice. It has very open rotenburo (outdoor onsen). Only drawback is wooden wall which blocks lake view. Dinner and breakfast, with buffet style, was just plain. Overall, it is ok, not great."
