"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. "Amazing onsen facilities. They have both private and public bath. Guests can reserve one private bath per night and use public bath unlimited. Their lady public bath has an indoor one and a semi-open one - do try the semi-open one! Lots of fresh air and you can hear the sounds of insects and river. Both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. And make sure to attend the performance at the lobby at night (8:45 pm during our stay). The traditional artist sang a few local traditional folk songs with shamisen. Very peaceful and pleasant experience"
