Clean rooms ... A bit noisy, with it being a small town, there are roosters singing and dogs barking quite often. If you don't mind that, it was a pleasant stay... Felt safe at all times. The whole town of Bacalar is very safe. Locals are very friendly.

Easy check in although we tried to pay with card and the card reader wasn’t working for us. They have filtered water around the property which helps with those hot days. The room AC worked well, the water got hot immediately. The wifi was great and didn’t go down the whole time we were staying there. Short walk to everything.

Desagradable
La aparencia del hotel se mira bien pero la cama solo tenia una sabana y las toallas un poco viejas el recepcionista cuando me registre me quedo a deber el cambio y salimos y seguia sin cambio asi que nunca me regreso mi dinero del cambio.

cheating with extra charges
nobody speaks English. Not a single word. I used Google Translate and then I realized that they asked for extra 711 pesos (CAD $53). I asked what exactly those charges are. The lady called somebody several times and I had to ask again to explain what are those charges. Finally I received the key after 30 minutes. No extra charges. Luckelly it was the only hotel which tried to charge exra. All other hotels never asled me for any extra charges during my stay in Mexico.

I liked the space and location, it was within walking distance to the lagoon and to downtown. Very good price and the A/C worked great.

Great place for a budget
Great place to stay if you are on a budget. The place is clean and the staff is really nice. It is not fancy at all but it has hot water and the internet is great. I would stay there again.

We loved our stay
We loved the place and love that we're close to them ecological Park. We also really appreciated that they had air conditioning and a water cooler in the hallway to fill up your water bottle with cold water anytime. They also rented bicycles there for you to use as Transportation around town. awesome

Plain and simple place to spend a night in Bacalar
This budget hotel is just fine for an inexpensive place to spend a night. It always depends on your expectations and budget. We felt this was fine for a one night stay and it's a short walk into town. We had the amazing good fortune of finding out about a new restaurant called NIXTAMAL. About the same location away from the centre square on the south side of town. Just south of the elementary school. (near Ave. 7 and Calle 14. Check it out!

Bad America.
TV lousy reception no remote. Just a bed. Hard bed. No AC. Parking is on street and limited. Bad part of town. Road bad. Laundry is a service down a block, not at hotel. Cafe closed.

We regret that in your stay we have not fulfilled your needs of hospedja, coupled with this if we have parking in the front of the hotel, I apologize if our staff did not let you know, so the street or via public regret that fact thing that we can not control and are currently entering the drainage service, with respect to the comment on the coffee we have a schedule of 7am to 11am in the morning and at night from 8pm to 10pm, again I apologize if our staff did not let him know, the laundry service we did not offer it. Even so we appreciate all your observations so we can improve.

you can get a better place
the only good thing about this place was the price. The location was about 10 minutes walking from the lake. They do not have internet, which I don't mind that much. AC was bad, they had AC but it was not working. Beds were uncomfortable and rooms are very loud, they are not soundproof so you can hear everything from the halls. The guy who was at the front desk was nice and willing to help even though, there was not much for him to do.

Good for a 2 night stay
The hotel is very clean and the air conditioning worked well. Front desk employee didn't speak English but was friendly enough. Cons: a bit outside the city centre but still walkable. Also the bottom bed sheet was too small and kept coming loose throughout the night

El lugar muy tranquilo y seguro, fácil transportarse a pie o en carro, Muy Recomendable, el personal muy amable y atento, muy limpio el lugar, instalaciones accesibles en ubicación , el cuarto es sencillo pero agradable la estancia. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Si volvería a hospedarme con ellos.

Sale, bruyant, vétuste
Peut importe le prix le minimum est la propreté. Il y avait un cafard dans la chambre. Literie catastrophique. Air conditionné fonctionne a peine, les fenêtre donne sur un corridor bruyant. Je veux bien comprendre qu’à ce prix on ne peut pas réclamer la lune, mais il y a des minimum. N’y allez pas.
