Compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed at the room was very spacious. Good facilities, helpful staff and a good location for walking to Hakata station. Also loads of good food spots in the surrounding area.

Nice location, amenities, public bath. Staff is excellent and speak English. Near old Hakata walking trail, Hakata station, restaurants, Gion station, Canal City, so very convenient. There is a nice 1000y-1500y sushi restaurant we went for lunch 5 min away 博多寿司処 尾之上 also!

Hotel was close to Tsuruya mall, Shimotori shopping street and walkable to Kunamoto Castle. There are lots of food options and tram stop is also nearby providing easy access to other locations in Kumamoto. Hotel room was clean and comfy. The pillows were too soft and could be better.

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The room is quite modern and comfortable and we appreciated the on site sauna. Not sure about the level of soundproofing as we could hear conversations from the people next door but thankfully it was quiet by the time we needed to sleep. Would consider staying there again.

I loved the lobby. It was beautiful and luxurious. The spa area was top-notch. It was very relaxing to come back from a long day of sightseeing and enjoy the spa. We definitely stay again.

Overall review.

Very nice location. Abundant room space compared to those of many city hotels. Public bath available. Gym available, but very small. Nice bed to sleep in. Bathtub provided, which is quite cozy. Delicious breakfast with some local specialties, though not too many choices.
