I only had to stay overnight to pick up friends from an early flight. The front desk lady was very nice but she seemed to be the only staff in the building. The only elevator was broken, so guests had to go up the stairs with their luggage. I didn't have much so that wasn't an issue but it did seem very unsafe (solo female traveler in the closed stairway at night). The room was ok but needed either a deep clean or an update - it was NOT filthy. The room did have exposed spackeling on the walls. I couldn't get the air to turn off, and the door didn't shut firmly even with the bolt locked. The door still "jiggled" and had "open space" the whole way around. The safety lock didn't stay in place. I could also hear male voices outside, even though I was on the second floor, and there was a lot of activity in the hallway - it was after 10 pm. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for only a 9-hour stay, but without my Expedia key cash, it would've cost just as much as one of the better hotels in the area.
