"This location used to be a Hampton Inn and is still in solid condition from the last time it was renovated. They continue to maintain a good morning breakfast service and there was nothing broken or out of sorts in the room. As an IT guy I noticed that they used Ubiquiti wifi components for their in house free wifi infrastructure so was happy to see that. Overall, for the price and location, it is a solid value."

"I stayed here after flying in to Bangor and again before flying out to get back home. This hotel is close to the airport and provides a free shuttle. The Blue Sky restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is super convenient for travelers, arriving at “in between“ times. The rooms are very clean, spacious, with a super comfortable bed. I really appreciate the two complementary bottles of water, that is a really nice extra! What I appreciate most about this place is the super friendly staff! Both the restaurant and hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. That makes a huge difference in a traveler’s experience. I do not know when life will take me back to Bangor, but when it does, the Bangor Grande will be the place that I hang my hat upon my arrival and before my departure!"

"This hotel had the following benefits: low relative price, adjacent to main terminal, nice bar, and above average restaurant. A half mile walk to the airport entrance where the bus terminal is to catch buses going north or all the way south to Boston."
