"I had a great experience at this resort! Property was beautiful, staff was friendly and food was outstanding. Beach and pool were spacious and clean, although many vendors on the beach trying to get you to buy excursions. They had plenty of chairs and huts that provided shade. The buffet was one of the best I have had in the DR, fresh and excellent options for all. Would definitely recommend this resort for your vacation! "

"Very big property. Very good places enjoy vacation. I think they have to do whoever want to go to shopping outside of resorts, they have arranged car with fix time and safety. So people can outside food. I stay 6 night in resorts eating same food is boring. If they take outside we can eat outside tooo with our money. And very less vegetarian options please add more food Other than everything is best, best people "

"Only thing was the signage or lack of. Just could have been better. Also we thought there might be some available information about activities outside the resort in the lobby. Check in and out was a breeze. Service outstanding. Food was excellent. Chez gourmet was a bit underwhelming especially with the enforced dress code. The other restaurants were all exceeding our expectations. The beach was amazing and it shows the effort and pride the staff puts into it. The property in general was spotless with crews always working to keep it up. Been to other resorts seeing peeling paint and rust. Not here. Food choices were unbelievable as was the quality. "I recently stayed at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino – Adults Only Club with a group where we booked 7 rooms, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue is that this is marketed as an “adults only” experience, but in reality, it is not. The only adults-only features were a very small pool with no special atmosphere or view, one restaurant, and a small buffet. There were no enforced regulations—kids were freely present even in areas that were supposed to be adults-only, including the pool and beach areas. Overall, the resort felt extremely family-oriented, not a true adults-only environment. If you are a young adult group looking for privacy, a kid-free atmosphere, and a fun vibe, this is not the place for you. Customer service also fell short. I paid an additional $700 at check-in to upgrade my room, yet it wasn’t ready until nearly 8 PM. I spent hours waiting with my luggage, repeatedly being told “30 more minutes” or “45 more minutes,” which was very frustrating. When the room was finally given to me around 7:45 PM, it was clear it had been rushed and quickly cleaned just to accommodate us. When I requested some form of compensation for the inconvenience and lost time, the staff refused. On top of that, no one explained the benefits of the “unique member package” that came with the upgraded room—I only learned about it at checkout, which made the experience even more frustrating. "
