It was a great Holiday. Location was rally good. Easy access to the 🚇 I enjoyed. Shared with the bathroom which didn't want to share a bathroom which didn't impact on my stay

Nous étions au Bird House rue Urgell, 3eme étage, chambre 9, famille (1 lit double et 2 simples). Ça ressemble à une collocation : 4 chambres, 2 salles de douche / wc et un espace commun avec cuisine. Les photos que l'on a vu sur le site n'ont pas été prise là où nous avons dormi ! Très limite au niveau de la propreté : joints noirs, pommeau de douche rouillés, pieds des lits branlants, matelas plus qu'usés.... 3eme étage et rue extrêmement bruyante, j'avais l'impression de dormir la fenêtre ouverte.... Pas de volet, mais de simples rideaux, limite voilage.... Déçus pour le prix ....

Es war super praktisch, dass es sowohl Self Check-in als auch zwei besetzte Büros gab. Bis auf Sonntags kann man sogar seine Koffer wegschließen! Wir haben die Codes früh genug per Mail UND WhatsApp bekommen, sehr schön. Der Raum war toll und hatte Gardinen, Rolladen und eine Klimaanlage! Der Zugang zu Küche und mehreren Bädern war sogar besser als ein Hotel! Nur der Wasserdruck war, vermutlich wegen der Dürre, sehr gering und die Temperatur beim Duschen war unkonstant.

Would not recommend when travelling to Barcelona. We checked out after 1 night. Glass on door to room which when the sensor light went off in the hallway lit up room all through the night. Worst bed we have slept on in Europe. Construction on wall of room started at 8am with no prior warning from hostel (hammering and grinding the bricks). Inconsistent communication when trying to check in prior to arrival to Barcelona.

Stayed in a private room with shared bathroom for 3 nights. The air conditioning did not work for all 3 nights. The bathrooms were covered in mold and did not feel clean showering without shoes on. Seems like the only thing cleaned between guests was the linen. Would definitely not recommend

Satisfactory for a short stay

The shared bathrooms were left in quite a mess by other guests. Towels on the floor were wet as well as the floor itself. I think each guest should be provided with a quick mop to leave the bathroom ready for the next occupant and a shower mat given to each room so as not to share them. Besides that the rooms were fine and the layout nice but the window in the top of room 2 allowed light to enter so when guests came in at 4am, light shine through waking us all up. Fridge was layer out well and place was vey accessible

Em geral é um bom local para escolher, à excepção do pequeno-almoço. Não compensa escolher essa opção porque o que temos à disposição é pouco e em miniatura quando comparado com os outros clientes do café com o qual a BirdHouse tem acordo. Para além de que no último dia nem tivemos direito ao Pequeno-almoço, quando pagámos por ele, todos os dias do alojamento.

Le petit déjeuner est à prendre à 50 m ce qui ne me pose pas de problème. Par contre, ça comprends qu'une boisson chaude et un croissant ou mini-sandwich. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas correctement La salle de bain et WC est à partager entre 3 chambres. PAr contre, possibité de faire sa cuisine. Absence de télévision dans la chambre ou dans l'espace commun des 3 chambres

Un poquito más de cuidado no estaría mal

Estuvimos en la habitación numero 11. La encimera debajo de la ventana muy pegajosa, suponemos que de haberle dado cera, pocas perchas para tres personas y si alguien necesita oscuridad para dormir lo tiene difícil pues solo hay unas cortinas rojas. La nevera un poco sucia. Tendrían que tener más cuidado con los efectos que produce la cal del agua de Barcelona; todos los grifos llenos de cal. El agua se sale mucho por el cable de la ducha en uno de los baños. A pesar de todo y de que la vista por la ventana es horrenda, la habitación es agradable.

We enjoyed our stay at Birdhouse but there were a couple of concerns. The floor was so dirty and had clearly not been vacuumed so there was a lot of dirt that stuck to our feet and would eventually end up in our beds. In one of the rooms, the beds were resting on wooden crates, but because they didn't secure the whole bottom of the bed, your back would slip down between the crates and it would make for a very uncomfortable sleep. The aircon was always very cold at night, and there were no duvets or blankets provided, only top sheets. However, when we did request these, they quickly provided them. No issues with response time of staff or anything like that. The balcony was very nice, and it was great to have a kitchen to cook. Some instructions on how to use the stovetop would be very helpful.
