The place was great, close walk to Plaça de Catalunya and Las Ramblas, very clean, room and bathroom were larger than usual for being in an older European building. Only issue we had was when we got in 1 of the 2 elevators required to get to our room, it would not go. Lucky we were able to pry the door open and get our luggage out. The reception fellow tried very hard to get someone out to fix but it required a part to be purchased after the weekend. He carried our 2 lg. and 2 sm. pieces of luggage down the flights of stairs for us. When departing, the elevator was not yet working so we had to carry all our luggage back up the flights of stairs. The receptionist when we checked out was very friendly and helpful, also. Would recommend.

Lovely and spacious rooms. Very comfortable stay. Helpful staff assisted us with all of our needs. Close to several restaurants and bars; walking distance to popular areas as well.

good hotel
clean, good condition, free coffee, helpful staff. Quiet and safe area. Could be wrong, but all the rooms appeared to be at or below ground level, which was a bit odd.

Clean, simple and well located hotel just off of Gran Via in Barcelona. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Room was missing kettle and an iron if that matters to you.

I got a room with a patio. The room is a decent size, the bathroom is big too, and have two sinks. The rooms are clean, fully remodeled, and the decoration is modern. My dislikes are that the check in/check out is across the street at the sister hotel called Hotel Costanza. Also, to get to the rooms, one has to take one elevator up, and then another elevator down (the property has been built on top of an energency exit). Otherwise, a very nice hotel room, within a walking distance to Las Ramblas, and the Cathedral. A lot of shops and places to eat around. All in all, I liked my stay there.

Nice hotel near the city center, room and bathroom very nice, best bed I have slept on in a hotel in a long time. The only things I would say are on the negative side would be the front desk is across the street and the elevators. you need to change the elevator to get from the front entrance to the room floor elevator. And you figure that out soon enough.

Great hotel conveniently located in Barcelona
We loved our stay at the Omnium. The hotel was convenient to the areas of Barcelona we enjoyed the most and the rooms were super modern and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The only suggestion is that the mattresses were a little softer. Fantastic stay

Great little boutique hotel should be 4 stars
This hotel should be more than 2 stars it’s absolutely a great little boutique hotel everything was excellent .all .very new beds etc bathroom first class good location nice coffee shops etc. close by .we felt very safe walking around would definitely recommend this hotel to stay

Very clean hotel. Very spacious. Quiet hotel. Close to centre so most site walking distance. Near to metro stations. Didn't like - the light fell out on the first morning and hit my mom. Staff were very apologetic and offered to swap our room. But these things should not happen.

Lovely hotel
A great stay! It was our first time in Barcelona and the hotel made it so much better! Very large bathrooms (great water pressure) It was about a 5 minute walk from Las Ramblas in a quieter part of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is not bad at all! However, there was no reception staff or security personnel in the lobby area during my stay there. Checking in and out of the hotel was done across the stress at Hotel Constanza (I assume they're part of a chain?) and the receptionists there were very helpful and friendly. Although the main entrance to Hotel Omnium required hotel card access, the lack of staff on site was a bit worrying and unsettling for me in terms of security. Also, the balcony door in my room was left unlocked when I checked in, which could have been a problem if I left valuables in my room unattended. Additionally, the wifi was not particularly fast and at times was unstable where I could not even connect.

Immaculate and really stylish. Very cosy and tucked away. Location was great, you can walk to old town, or Plaça de Catalunya where the trains and metro can take you anywhere.

Check-in for hotel is hotel across the street. Hotel also requires two separate set of elevators to get to the room. This is a very no frills hotel, but rooms are modern with nice quiet patio. The location is excellent, but would only recommend for guests not requiring hotel assistance.

Check in was at the hotel across the street as it was Low season. No problem with it at all. Hotel room is very spacious and clean but with the very basic amenities - just soap and shampoo, towels, hair dryer, safe. No bottled water, kettle, toothbrush etc. Great location for exploring the city.

Excellent central location and very clean, modern, large room with balcony and good shower. The mattresses/pillow were a bit hard, but otherwise I would highly recommend the hotel. We stayed for 5 nights.

Loved this hotel
This hotel is perfect for tourist. The location is great. My boyfriend and I were able to walk EVERYWHERE in the city. It’s locates right in the city center so it’s easy to get around and walk to places. We walked to the ramblas the gothic quarter and even the beach. The beach was far to walk to but it was an enjoyable experience because we were able to experience the city. The hotel was also very clean every time we returned. The shower is great! It’s a big enough room. I have no complains about the bed or pillows. The bed was not super soft but I found it to be comfortable regardless. I prefer a harder bed to a super soft one. Overall I had a good experience in this hotel and the location beats all the cons you can think of.

Very expensive hotel where you are made to check in at another hotel over the road. The front of the hotel is just a facade but the rooms are out the back which requires walking outside then into an elevator. No gym No full time reception Expensive parking Underground weird rooms Over priced

Anniversary trip to Spain
Very convenient location. Room was clean and air conditioner worked great. Did not use the breakfast as there are several bakeries surrounding the area. We got in late so we had to check in at the sister hotel across the street, but was very easy and everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
