Big clean room with very comfortable bed! Irene was a perfect host, great breakfast options, and best bit was meeting the animals on the farm!

A quaint farming experience. Plenty of poultry and other livestock around farm. Green, clean and fresh. Friendly management and gorgeous room and bed. Faultless!

This was a really nice place to stay, with very friendly hosts. The breakfast was massive and very tasty, and we enjoyed having a wander around the farm.

Glencoe is beautifully presented Accomodation with lovely hosts who are very welcoming and provide a lovely breakfast and helpful travel tips. I would highly recommend Glencoe Bed and Breakfast to anyone travelling in this part of Tasmania.

The location was good with great views of Mt Roland. We were made very welcome by our hostess. The room was very good in an old house that was in very good condition. The bed was large and comfortable although the bed clothes were a little heavy. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to meet our requests. It suite our needs very well as the day after our stay we went to the Cradle Mountain Reserve. It was an easy drive on sealed roads. It is an exceelnt place to stay for anybody interested in the Tasmanian countryside.

Hi Basil, Thank you for the review,, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, yes normal this time of year we have our lighter coverings, unfortunately we had a few cooler nights and had to put them back on, as a few guest found it to be little cool at night. We do hope you visit Tassy again and us at Glencoe

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Our rooms and the farmhouse were perfect and the location was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were so accommodating and couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we ever travel back this way.

This property was a lovely historical home that had the most comfortable mattress we have even slept on. The hosts made us feel at home, even allowing us to join them while they fed their lovely farm animals. The breakfasts were exceptional each morning served in a lovely garden room.

A really charming property with incredible hosts (Russ & Irene). Amenities of high quality, plus amazing meals from the kitchen! About an hour drive from Cradle Mountain NP for those interested in hiking.

Our breakfast was marvellous -- homemade croissants that tasted like they were made in Paris, homemade danishes (better than any I've ever had anywhere), perfectly poached eggs, a beautiful spread of fruit, the most delicious cooked mushrooms (my husband is still raving about them and asking me to figure out how to make the "wow" mushrooms at Glencoe), and an extensive tea menu with what seems like the entire T2 tea shop on offer. The room was lovely, with a window seat to curl up on and enjoy the view of the surrounding gardens, and a very comfortable bed. I slept more soundly in the bed at Glencoe than I do at home (which is saying a lot, since I usually sleep poorly in hotels.) I would highly recommend staying here. A rarity among bed and breakfasts, Glencoe has a five star bed and five star breakfast. A wonderful weekend escape.

Great place to stay
Thoroughly recommend staying here. Rooms immaculate, with warm hospitality and fireplace in the lounge room. Loved the Scottish Highland cattle, sheep, goats, chickens and ducks. Breakfast was delicious near the fireplace. Great for couples and families and close to Sheffield.

Hidden Gem in perfect location.
Lovely, spotlessly clean, comfortable room with ensuite. Breakfast was fantastic! Welcomed on arrival with freshly made cake and coffee. Beautiful grounds on acreage to wander through. Only 22 minute drive to Spirit of Tasmania terminal in Devonport and 7 minutes to Sheffield. Perfect location.

One of the best B&B we've ever stayed at
Amazing country style bed and breakfast. Very clean, comfortable and cozy rooms with all amenities you would need. Fresh and super delicious breakfast. Owners were very kind and helpful during our stay. Farm animals provided good entertainment. We would highly recommend to our friends and family.

Thank you for your comments, as we try to make sure your stay with us is pleasant and restful, we like to welcome guests to our home, being a house (Bed and Breakfast) having blockout curtains we felt would make our guest feel like thay are in a hotel room, and not in our home. Thank you for advising us of the fridge we will do our best to fix this issue.

Russ & Irene were so sweet and so helpful! My husband and I sadly only got to stay for one night but the property was beautiful, we got a homemade breakfast which was delicious and in the morning, Irene let us help her feed the farm animals. Our room was so charming and we loved all the little details. Russ made a full itinerary of activities and stops for the rest of our Tasmania road trip.
