"Had 3 nights of stay at TDR over Easter holiday with my kids. The location is 5min walk from ABC jetty, with 3 restaurants surround the property, many choices and good taste. We went to scuba diving, snorkeling trips around Tioman and the packages can be easily bought through the reception. The manager is super helpful with all the booking, and took care of my junior divers with a special dive masters. Very happy to the arrangement. Will definitely come back again!"

"Very quite place to live and time out place, not much activities to do though except beach walk and playing at beach for everything else need to book the package go with minimum 2 night 2 day "

"Bedsheets and towels were stained and overall cleanliness is very poor Development is very old and needs maintenance Rooms are small and can see others room very easily no privacy Tioman is nice and that’s what made our stay good not the hotel so much "

"Excellent location nice staff this is for a quiet time out of the hectic city . The area is limited in activities and a max of 4 days would be enough to spend there. Some of the cottages are a bit run down . Definitely worth doing "

"A very beautiful place, a very wonderful place-- so thank you very much. Living as we do on the other side of the world, we looked carefully for somewhere where we could be quiet after a busy week of work in Singapore, longing to walk into the water and see its wonders. Bali was possible, but at a friend's suggestion, we chose Tioman Island. The Japamala Resort satisfied every hope, known and unknown. The sea and sand was all we imagined and needed, our room was creatively curated in a Polynesian style, the food was different and unique (and tasty!), and the staff were exemplary. Mike stands out in his role overseeing the hospitality, characteristically eager and kind, able and willing to do anything needed to make our time a pleasurable one. Everything from the restaurants to the masseuse to the watermen who helped with the snorkeling, we were grateful for each one. Do we recommend? Yes, and yes again! Washington DC "

"Nice chilled out hotel with decent facilities. Hotel staff are pleasant and welcoming. The taxi fare from Tekek to the hotel was way overpriced but overall that is a relatively minor niggle. "
