"I had a brief stay as I arrived late and left very early the following day but the Serra mattress was excellent and the room was in a quiet location. The staff was courteous. If I’m ever in S.F. again I will stay there."

"Not the most glamorous hotel but for what it’s worth it gets the job done. Don’t expect the rooms to have lots of room, it did feel a bit cramped but it works for 2 people at most. Not the cleanest in terms of the bathroom soap dispensers or some of the bed sheets but still pretty negligible for the price. "The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170.
