"Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. "This hotel is a characterful gem. Relaxed vibe. The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Tip: Buy bottled water for drinking as hot water mixes in with the cold tap. "

"My check in was Wednesday at 3pm but I arrived at 12pm on the day of my sons graduation on the 17th of September and the young man on reception was so accommodating in going out of his way in providing me an area to get dressed and freshen up after my 5 hour drive.
