"Fabulous stay in a lovely lodge within the grounds of the Cathedral! Originally built for visiting priests about 20 years ago, and then opened to the general public. The rooms are lovely, quiet and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Service was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is included and table service and delicious. Value is excellent. I wished we'd stayed longer!"

"After driving from Le Mans and a Ferry from Calais this hotel was just what we needed. Such a beautiful building decorated and furnished perfectly. Although not having a disability we stayed in the room adapted for disabled people. Having previously been in the caring profession I couldn't see anything that could be improved. The fittings did not hamper me or my partner who are able bodied. The room was warm and welcome tea/coffee kettle etc. in the room. Breakfast was delicious and choices...

"Pleasant stay, one of the nicer hotels in Folkestone. Rooms seemed to be (recently?) renovated, bathroom's spacious, bedroom was a little on the smaller size and the bed itself felt like a small double. One of the cons of our stay was how unbearably hot it was in our bedroom. The thermostat on the radiator wouldn't turn off and there was no way to switch if off in the bathroom. We had to sleep the whole night with the windows and curtains wide open."

The plumbing made a lot of noise every time the toilet was flushed or the sink was used which was a bit annoying and could do with some fresh paint but other than that, we had a comfortable stay. "
