"Room was nice and clean, shower head wasnt adjustable so water went over the floor There was only 1 net curtain and the main curtains didnt close fully so was very bright in the morning. Bed was comfortable but our quilt had a few stains on Staff very welcoming and friendly Parking was a nightmare, we were lucky to get the very last spot in the carpark Breakfast was very nice, price is reasonable. Food was ok, eggs were undercooked and the milk for cereal was warm. Bar was very good prices, definitely recommend more soft drink and snack choices though Overall we cant really complain, better than 90% of hotels on the front :)"

"Had an excellent stay at this hotel. I was in a Club room which included parking and terms/conditions made very clear by the reception staff at check-in. Room was a good size and had all required amenities. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean and a really powerful shower! Would not hesitate to stay again and use more of the available facilities."

"This place needs bringing up to date, with a refurbish in all areas. The carpets everywhere are horrid. The colours are dreadful and the furniture needs going on the bonfire. In the rooms everything is dreary and the mattresses were shockingly uncomfortable. Bedding was just ok. The breakfast was ok but you had to wait at the door, we sat down eventually and the waitress came over to tell us off as this was an assigned table! Aren’t they lucky! The worse thing in the place is the rickety old lift!! I am weak from cancer and couldn’t walk up to the 4th floor! It was bumpy and shaky and very scary! Go next door to the Sheraton it’s miles better. Warm and comfy and the lift is easy."

"Considering the reputation that surrounds Norbreck Castle, I have to say I was genuinely impressed. I found the hotel to be fantastic and would definitely consider staying again. Our room was basic, but for what we paid, I honestly didn’t expect anything more. It was clean, we had fresh towels and all the usual tea, coffee and condiments provided, so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was brilliant, with the tram stop literally right outside the hotel, making it really easy to get into Blackpool. Parking was also only £3 for 24 hours, which I thought was excellent value. We only stayed for one night and I certainly wasn’t expecting much in terms of entertainment, but the cabaret was absolutely fantastic! The four young adults who I believe were part of the entertainment team were amazing. Having been an entertainer myself in the past, I was genuinely blown away by their energy, talent and professionalism. They really made the evening and were a credit to the hotel. The bar prices were also much cheaper than in Blackpool itself, which was another pleasant surprise. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay. Sometimes you have to experience somewhere for yourself rather than judge it by its reputation, and for us, Norbreck Castle was a really positive experience. I would definitely visit again!"
