"Great budget hotel for families. We used the pool a couple of times and enjoyed the breakfast one day. Lovely walk through the gardens along the river to the beach. Decor is dated, but that probably keeps the price down."

Carrington House Hotel

Carrington House Hotel

8/10 Good
"One of The attendant, saved me and gave me a room for 5 people at no extra cost so I could stay together with my children as at the website was not available and I had to pay for 2 rooms. The bedroom floor was very dirty, and it was very hot because there was no AC, but they do provide a fan. I had to clean the room myself because cleaning is done after 3 days of stay and since I have children, it's difficult to go more than a day without cleaning the room. Breakfast buffet was ok. Cheap sausages...also the coffee made from the machine have an awful taste and seems to be made with instant coffee..I had to buy proper coffee from beans outside. Overall good for the price."

"Staff very helpful. Room bright and airy but was not serviced. I had to ask and it was unfortunately thrown together at the last minute. Breakfast was ok, bar area was clean and tidy. Shame no chef for the evening dinner. The hotel suited us well but itโ€™s looking tired."
