Awful stay
No information about late check ins. No information about check outs. Room was not what was sold in the pictures. Eventually Got the room we paid for but only for the last two nights of trip. Toilet was broken on arrival so I fixed it myself as I couldn’t contact anyone. Horrible smell in bathrooms. Showers were disgusting and such low pressure. New room was abit better but still not great. We paid for a room with full access to pool but the next day when searching for the pool we found out it was closed. This wasn’t written on the website or told to us before arriving. One of the main reasons for choosing this apartment was for the pool. The receptionist was pleasant enough but really couldn’t help. I asked for a full refund (for the remaining nights) and to leave the hotel immediately but the hotel refused as the manager wasn’t in… we had a complimentary breakfast but really wasn’t anything special. Beds were so uncomfortable that I woke up over and over again. Overall I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The room was great, only real downside was no air conditioning (we were there during a heat wave) but there was a fan provided so that gave some comfort. Room was spacious enough and clean. Location is good, close to a grocery store and a couple cafes. Public transportation is about a 7-10 minute walk away for tram stops.

Terrible wifi but good on enviro stuff
If you have to use wifi for business, probably not the place for you. I was lucky because I had my phone to use the hotspot since I had to host a zoom meeting while traveling and I doubt the wifi would have been adequate. I do want to give the Adagio extra points for environmental reasons… No little plastic bottle of shampoo or plastic wrap soap everything refillable. Large room, small dining table good for work or two people to eat at, adequate pans and utensils, although the coffee pot barely worked). Fortunately I had my own kettle too). Comfortable bed and black out curtains. I chose the location because of proximity to fine arts museum, which turned out to be a disappointment, and location wasn't great for other tourist sights.

We are sorry that you weren't able to use the coffee pot. We did the necessary to fix it. I do urge you to not hesitate next time, to notify it to our recpetion team, which will replace it imediatetly. We are thrilled to know that our efforts to be as environment friendly as we can is paying off and it's being noticed. We will pursue into that direction for the coming years. Over the past few years we undertook some changes, to upgrade the comfort into our apartment( replacement of the carpets and bedding for example). Regarding the wifi connection, unfortunately we cannot guarantee the quality of the network 100%. This varies depending on the devices. I hope you will renew your confidence in us and visit us again in Bordeaux or in another city where Adagio and Adagio access are present. Best regards,

Great value for the price.
Nice place, located close to the city center in safe neighborhood. Didn't use the pool, but it's a nice touch. The staff was friendly and informative with special instructions for a late check in.

Large Subterranean car park. Reasonable size room. Good location. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. Shower is in a short-length bath. Quite a stretch to climb in, even worse to climb out because the floor is lower than you think. Plastic bath mat would have been useful.

We liked it!
We liked this hotel and would stay there again. Staff was great. Location wasn’t as good, as we had a 25 minute walk to the train station through what turned out to be a less desirable part of Bordeaux - not the hotel’s fault but still a consideration (the hotel itself was in a good area). Also, either the A/C didn’t work or we just couldn’t figure it out.

The first room we were given was the worst room we have encounter anywhere. After complaining we were given a slightly better room. Bigger and no filly carpet. Broken tiles in bathroom, mould. 7 days without towel change unless we paid extra. No cleaning of the room and we were asked to clean the kitchenette before we left.

Adagio Rodesse stay

Reasonable price 4 short/long term stay -Bordeaux
This is a smart way to stay shorter or longer period in Bordeaux. The aparthotel is easy to reach from the airport by bus 1+ (bus stop Republique ) and within a short walk to the centre. The staff were friendly and all speak English so do not worry if your French is not so good. Pay attention to the note aboutique working hours of the reception and if needed call in advance. The rooms have a kitchenette and big Auchan supermarket is close by so you can easily fix something warm to eat. The only thing that bothered me and litterary made me suffer was the bed - not so comfortable. However, there was a note about delivering new beds on 22nd May 2019 and hopefully they will be more comfortable.

Basic with no aircon
I had an expectation as it was booked via hotels.com that it would be like staying in a hotel but unless you paid a premium when you got there there was no daily room service or daily change of towels included for a three night stay. I am sure when I booked this it said there was aircon and there was not there was just a fan in the room. Maybe it means there is aircon in the reception but it was misleading and with the temperature last week hitting 30 it was a big mistake to stay here. The beds has no headboard and were very basic. The staff were all very pleasant indeed and the breakfast was basic but good and the wifi worked well. The location is a walk to the city centre but too far to use as a base during the day. I think the expectation from the info on hotels.com lead me to expect something else.

We booked this hotel because it had a pool, when we booked it never once mentioned the pool opening times. The pool closes in September. We would have booked a cheaper hotel that didn't have a pool if we had known. Apart from that it's close to the city centre and ok for a weekend break

Good value studio apartment 20sqm, light and clean
Simple, clean and efficient for 5 nights for a fair price. Good heating. Big window. Breakfast was available for €9 but I used my little kitchen. Supermarket and boulangerie are nearby. A bottle opener is provided! Close to main Art museums. About 8 min walk to the main shopping street. 10 min to the river/quai. And convenient for the tram and also the busline from airport to Gare StJean.So generally the location was fine.

The rooms where not as pictured in the advert, very dated. It was very noisy and unable to get a good nights sleep any night i was there. There was a pool but could only access it by handing over your room key in return for the access fob but reception was not open and manned the time the pool was open so every time i wanted to use the pool i couldnt as there was no one on reception to get the access fob from and the pool was a main attraction in picking this hotel. The staff where all very helpful and pleasant when the reception was open!!

my family stayed at this self catering hotel, big advantage was the location and pool, however accommodation was basic, clean and comfortable, a bit disappointed as there was no kettle or toaster, and had to pay additional fee for cleaning of the room or clean towels, we stayed for 7 nights, hotel staff were friendly.

Well-located very basic cheap hotel
The hotel was well-located close to the city centre and easy access to busses and trams. The room was very small and didn't look like the picture on the site. The closet was dusty but the bed was very comfortable and wifi worked well. The hotel has a pool but you have to ask for a special key from the reception to enter so we only used it once.

Excellent Choice
We were very pleased with this hotel. It offers great value and is well located. 15 mins walk from the centre and easily accessible from airport or train station via bus 1, get off at the Palais de Justice stop. No need to take breakfast as there is a boulangerie just round the corner. Strongly recommend if you are comfortable with a French apart hotel.

I came to spend some time in Bordeaux and watch the football. The hotel was nicely positioned being a 15 minute bus ride from the railway station and close to the town centre. The hotel is simple and not overly fancy. However it was clean and tidy and my room was spacious and comfortable I would heartily recommend it as a value for money option.

The internet connection comes and goes. U need to work on it especially for people who need the internet for work. The hotel has a perfect location since it is close to the pharmacy, the supermarket and the tram line. No room service at all. This should be fixed. The reception closes at 9 pm. I came at midnight and the door was closed. Luckily a girl came to the hotel and let me in otherwise i would have slept outside.

This hotel is good value for money. It has a kitchen, plates etc for home cooking, the tv has different language channels, the breakfast is healthy, the room was clean and the staff were helpful.

Fair position for the old quarter of Bordeaux. Off street parking to pay for, but there is no alternative, as no where to park. Two stars at the most.

Modern apartment style rooms great to be able to do your own cooking with stove and microwave/grill. There is a Carrefour supermarket about 400m away on road to train station. Easy walk to central Bordeaux.
