Gym is small and not suitable. No treadmill. No hair conditioner or body lotion and they are a 4 star allegedly. Area looks abandoned exceot for the Accor group of hotels. Short walk into town but hotel location is not great.

Very close to the center, nice and walkable options nearby. I feel that I saved money whilst staying here. It is not luxury, but it is convenient, clean and works.

The hotel was directly across from a Bastille Day celebration in which music and crowd noise were blasted till 4 AM directly across from hotel room. I extended my stay at this hotel beforehand not knowing this and no one bothered to tell me that this would be an issue. The staff did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make up for this. It was a pricey and overpriced place and not that nice for the price. I would strongly recommend anyone considering this hotel to go elsewhere!

The objectivity of your return only concerns an event "July 14", which is a national holiday like in any other country on another date. (July 4th for you)Contrary to what you say, know that what is necessary has been done in advance, with intervention by the firefighters on a live sound test from our rooms exposed to the barracks.I am sorry to read that this impacted your stay.I obviously remain at your disposal to discuss this point. The carpet was a bit dirty and there were limited plug ins in the bathroom. The gym was limited and a bit messy when I went down to try it. The AC was not very effective. Shower could have used a bit more pressure and the temperature fluctuated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great.

I absolutely loved that they gave us water bottles (refillable) that we could exchange for full every day. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was nicely air conditioned. The staff was so great and helpful! we were able to get a late checkout! It was a good walk to find restaurants and cafes, but we love that!

Overall Good with Some Room for Improvement
The staff was very friendly and accommodating as we needed to store our luggage since our room was not yet ready. We also were able to store in after we checked-out, which was very helpful. Though the room was nice, when we entered someone had left liquor bottles and other trash in the entrance way so we needed to call for room service to take it away. I also noticed crumbs under a chair, so not the best cleaning for this room. The chamber maid who tended to us was clearly sorry and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, though the restaurant for dinner has a very limited menu. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of Hotel de Ville which makes it very convenient. Overall, a good, inexpensive place to stay in Bordeaux!

This hotel is set up for remote working in the lobby of this hotel. There are little cubicles and common workspace areas. It has a gym which is usually empty. The rooms are large however the a/c was not very performant. Location is great but with the roadwork being done by the parking lot, accessing parking was a bit confusing as the signs for « Parking 8 May 1945 » Disappear at the roundabout diversion

Very Good Experience
We really enjoyed our stay at Novotel. Easily accessible by foot or tram. Small but comfortable/clean rooms. Friendly staff and the breakfast buffet is super good.

Overall a pleasant stay. Good area -- easy walking to city, tram, and bus. Building has some strange design choices -- lobby and main elevators on second level, toilet in separate room from sink and shower, door separating bedroom. However, room and lobby are modern. Friendly staff. Must call front lobby to get in after hours, but feels safe. Would stay again.

I had a confirmed hotel reservation. But when I arrived at the hotel, I was not settled. because they didn't have my reservation in their system. I was not allowed to stay at the hotel with my children. and I stayed outside at night. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY!

This was the most expensive stay so far on our tour of Europe. The a/c in our room was very poor even after a repair person looked into the issue. The coffee machine at the in house restaurant served sour milk and had difficulty in convincing the attendant until several complaints were submitted. Was hoping for better relative to the price.

Only one small bottle of water for a family of 4 unacceptable. Air con was not very cold Outside area of the hotel was disgusting. Total contrast to inside the hotel which was great but made us very wary on arrival. Staff were great!!!

This hotel was just ok. Room was very small and a bit out dated with a musty smell. Our last night the AC didn't work well and we were very uncomfortable. It had been ok initially. We were a family of 4 and found it difficult to navigate the small space. Lobby was nice though staff didn't seem to want to help much unless you approached them. The area was just ok - not far from some really nice things and the above ground metro was close. Be mindful there are 2 Novotel properties in Bordeaux so make sure you know which one you are booking. There was no coffeemaker in the room and the hairdryer was really ancient. We stayed in France for 2 weeks and this was our least favorite property of our vacation. We stayed at a Novotel in the previous city we visited and it was much nicer than this one in Bordeaux. There was a pinball machine in the lobby (free) which my son loved!

Exceeded expectations
Was genuine impressed by the quality of the hotels and rooms. We stayed on the 8th floor and also enjoyed great sunset views from e there. The decors were impeccable and the proximity to everything was 100%. The service desk team were helpful and always gave us water when we asked. I love this hotel 💯
