3 minute walk to Bordeaux Gare St Jean train stati
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Aurore. They helped us arrange a driver to Margaux on Saturday when the trains were disrupted by the Medoc marathon. Great location for travelling by train within the region. 30 to 40 min walk to city centre but plenty of buses and trams to get there. Not so great if you like to walk around your hotel, and hang out at the cafes and people watch. We stayed at the Anouilh room which is a 2-storey room/studio - the bedroom is upstairs but the shower and WC are downstairs, and we found it rather inconvenient going up and down the stairs to use the WC especially in the middle of the night.

Great cozy spot
We had a fantastic time at Villa Segur. It's absolutely perfect if you need to get to Gare Saint Jean with ease and efficiency. The receptionist was an absolute treasure and the kindest.

Property listing claimed it was air conditioned. The actual room was in a back corner with no air conditioning and little natural ventilation. Terrible.

Property is lovely, everything is decorated beautiful and you can tell it’s all very newly refurbished. The property is well situated, very close to the main station and a 10-15 minute walk from the main promenade. The property was clean however noticed some hairs in the bed which was a shame. There was no shampoo and conditioner provided - it would be nice to have some of the touches you would get in hotels where you pay a similar price. We also ran out of shower gel (they didn’t provide full bottles) and this was not refilled when our room was cleaned - it was refilled after asking, however the receptionist seemed a bit confused about us asking for this. (She was v friendly and welcoming however, and did fill the shower gel up). We did have the receptionist come and check on our room 5-10 minutes before check-out - which made us feel a bit hurried whilst we were doing our last checks of packing. All in all, would recommend and return.

Disappointing stay
Well located but frustrating stay. We weren’t allowed to check in a minute early so had to wait in a local coffee shop. The room had a downstairs part which resembled a waiting room and then a tiny spiral staircase to the bedroom. The staircase was too small to get a suitcase up, and was very slippery. There was a kitchenette downstairs, but no tea or coffee making facilities - making no sense. There is little noise insulation between rooms.

Je ne suis pas vraiment satisfaite de mon séjour pour plusieurs raisons: il faisait plutôt froid dans l'appartement à mon arrivée et je n'ai trouvé aucune couette/couverture supplémentaire; et comme je n'aime pas dormir avec le chauffage trop élevé, j'ai eu froid toute la nuit le manque voire l'absence de conseils sur des adresses pour manger à proximité (on aurait vraiment dit que ma question était exceptionnelle...) le fait de ne pouvoir payer que par espèce ou par chèque (pour une taxe de séjour...) le fait de proposer un petit déjeuner seulement à partir de 7h30; après peut etre que cet hotel est plutôt réservé pour des séjours loisirs mais dans mon cas je suis assez décue et pourtant je ne crois pas être trop exigeante...

NO momento da reserva, não é informado que o valor pago pelo estacionamento é de 15 euros por noite. Além disso, as toalhas estavam com cheiro desagradável e a limpeza do quarto também deixou a desejar.

Un « hôtel particulier » transformé en hôtel . A 3 minutes à pied de la gare Bordeaux St-jean, une rue calme . Des chambres (type studio) avec un coin détente, une petite cuisine , une grande salle de bain et une grande chambre à l’étage . Une arrière cours où se détendre ou prendre son petit dej . Ne ressemble en aucun cas aux hôtels standardisés , ici c’est singulier, mais tellement agréable, bien-être, charme, tranquillité : c’est PARFAIT ! Une communication avant l’arrivée et pendant parfaite , un accueil bienveillant . Un petit dej apporté en chambre copieux . Si je dois revenir à Bordeaux pour 1 nuit ou pour 10 c’est ici que je reviendrai.

ci è piaciuto molto! spazioso, grazioso e silenzioso (a parte il riscaldamento in camera che non si capiva come spegnere) e con una accoglienza molta simpatica. Bisogna dire però che non c'erano le pantofole né il bollitore presente nella descrizione della camera. Però il personale molto disponibile ci ha fornito un bollitore il giorno dopo!

We stayed just for a night in this hotel very conveniently located next to the main train station. We didn't know Bordeaux, but although it's 30 min of pleasant walking to the center, the area is great, and there are a lot of nice restaurants, bars and landmarks. The staff was lovely and gave us a lot of nice advices. The standard room was very cool and clean and quite spacious. and a special mention to the bathroom that is very well designed and beautiful. The fridge is loaded with local organic beverages but we didn't tried them. It's a steal compared to the standard hotels that are around this area, give it a try, we highly recommend it !

Best hotel of our trip!
We had a wonderful stay near the station and loved the charming hotel! The idea of serving the breakfast right to the room was luxurious and we enjoyed the organic breakfast soo much, it was delicious and worth the price!
