This hotel was right in the heart of Boston. The Freedom Trail is right out the door. We enjoyed our stay so much and look forward to staying there again when we visit Boston! So many restaurants, bars and shopping right by Hotel!

This hotel is a Boston icon — conveniently located and walking distance to the Boston Common, Boston Public Garden, Boston Waterfront, Fanuel Hall, the North End, TD Garden (where the Bruins and Celtics play), Park Street “T” station, Newbury Street, etc. The facility itself is well-maintained, clean, classic style, historic and spacious with a grand lobby — they don’t make hotels like this anymore! The staff are all professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. The bellboys I engaged with during my stay all had at least 39 of experience at this hotel. A very nice hotel restaurant and the hotel bar, “The Last Hurrah,” is supposedly where John F. Kennedy (JFK) proposed to Jacquline Bouvier (later the beloved First Lady) in the early 1950s. You have to try the hotel’s famous Boston Cream Pie. Highly recommend this hotel for any size party. The rooms are very nice and it’s only about a 15-minute drive to Logan International Airport! We had a wonderful experience and will stay here again when we return to Boston!
