"We had a fantastic time at the hotel and spa. The room was modern, well equipped, bright with lovely views but needed air conditioning! The proximity to the town and surrounding attractions was perfect for our sight seeing break. We are looking forward to rebooking for Christmas. Thanks for a lovely stay."

The Mousetrap Inn

"Our stay at The Mousetrap was good. Our room was small (which we expected as we'd looked online beforehand), but it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Only one small thing was there was only around 3 or 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe. We stayed two nights and on day two we came back in the afternoon to find our room had been cleaned. The staff were helpful and we were particularly impressed with Anthony who served us in the restaurant. He had a lovely, friendly manner. The choice of breakfast was excellent and what we had was delicious. The location of The Mousetrap was ideal. Parking was limited, but apart from one occasion, we managed to find a spot."

"The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as โ€œchaosโ€. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate."

"I had an overall pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham. The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful location with beautiful grounds, making it a relaxing place to stay while still being conveniently located for Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was straightforward. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bed was particularly comfortable. However, there were a couple of areas that could have been better. The water pressure in the shower was quite weak and could definitely have been stronger. I also noticed some dust around the toilet area, so a little more attention to detail when cleaning the bathroom would have been appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel comfortable and relaxing. With a few improvements to the bathroom cleanliness and shower pressure, it would have been an even better experience."
