Good, but......
The hotel was very interesting and in a good location. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom situation however was NOT good. The partially frosted glass to both the toilet and shower did not provide adequate privacy and the lack of a true door to the toilet led to audible sounds from the bathroom that were unpleasant.

Center of old town
Prime location, great breakfast, impressive grounds, courtyard, bed would be comfortable if it wasn't for matress protection which felt too plastic, also there was a constraction going on next to the pools, so there was quiet a noise.

A beautiful hotel centrally located in the city. It really is a hidden gem. The front hotel staff, especially Patricia, .were so helpful. The pool was refreshing

Seems to lack ongoing maintenance, but lovely plac
Very good experience with these two exceptions: one of th pools was closed and the area of the open pool was very minimal; the one lift to our room was out of service which met travelling with our luggage’s along a long hallway to a « service lift » and back again along the long hallway on our floor. The next morning BOTH lifts were out of service, which met carrying suitcases down the stairs!

This hotel is stunning and in the center of town! Steps to shops and restaurants. Looks like an old magical castle! Staff is friendly and hotel is super clean! Rooms were very large for a large family!

Fantastic Experience
I have been traveling for over 30 years and spent hundreds of nights in all types of hotels. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The property was unique in all aspects and the service was fantastic. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Braga.

Although everything was great about our experience but I was really disappointed that there were no facilities to iron clothes. We had an engagement in the evening and there was not enough time to send it to the laundry. What was even more disappointing was we were not made aware of this at check in and if we did send it for laundry despite there were no other means available, it would not be a complimentary service.

Property is so beautiful, inside looks like a castle and outside like a church. When GPS drove me to the hotel I had the impression it was wrong address, :)

Hotel with limited coffee
I thought the fact that we only get one coffee pod per person per stay in a 4 star hotel os crazy. Very cheap on the hotel's part. We stayed 3 nights and were told if we wanted another coffee pod it's a dollar a pod . Why bother putting a coffee pot in the room for one cup of coffee. We got more coffee in a three star hotel. Also it's dumb to make people wear caps for swimming in the hotel pool.

Okay, this place is kind of amazing. There are two small pools, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, the rooms are ridiculously large, the grounds are beautiful, the setting is historic, and the location couldn't be better - you're literally steps from restaurants and stores. And the staff are great. I only stayed one night; I would happily return.
