"As regular visitors to the Imperial Hotel we thought that this was an Inferior room to what we have had in the past, 1 no safe 2 Window did not have an opening on a hot day for fresh air so always steamed up 3 My wife fell out of the bed during the night because the mattress was larger than the base and sloped over the edge off base 4 The hand Gel in the bathroom had no Lather as it looked to be diluted like water. When we reported the above to Ricky on Reception he said that the room 238 was one of the better rooms. Also not amused by the Parking charge of £14.00 per night which I found Extortionate from past stays. We came away not Happy Bunnies"

"Bedrooms and front of house staff were very good. The yellow submarine cocktail is outstanding. The spa is a lot more average. It took almost 40 mins for drinks to get delivered to the pool. A pool with steam room/sauna/salt room being described as a thermal suite is a bit generous! The relaxation room is also noisy."

"Excellent location.Friendly staff. Rooms well cleaned. Air conditioning was working perfectly but hotel is just looking a little tired and breakfast could be better."

"Extremely clean, well appointed room with Air Con. Professional and helpful staff. Excellent location for train travellers beside Lime Street Station. The restaurant was expensive with a limited menu. I only ate there once, but there are numerous other great places to eat in the city."

"Rooms are small. Beds are uncomfortable. Housekeeping leaves towels and bedsheets blocking the walkways. Staff went way overboard leaving stacks and stacks of towels at my door every day that I never requested."
