"I arrived from the airport after an early morning flight. José at reception took excellent care of me, taking my bags, introducing me to restaurant staff to avail of impromptu breakfast and facilitating an early check-in into a lovely room. I was very impressed by the modern nautical themed décor, friendly attentive staff and comfortable surroundings. Nice touches in the lobby area such as plain and flavoured iced water add to the welcoming feel. The hotel location is excellent with the main shopping area only a five minute walk with lots of historic sights to see en route. I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely book Voco by IHG in other locations in the future."

"Easy check in and we managed to get a space parked outside. Room was a good size with a comfy bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and a good size bathroom, with a few toiletries. Breakfast had plenty of food to choose from and they provided vege sausage and boiled eggs when we asked for them. Pool was a bonus. It was small and very warm, but nice to relax in. Collect and sign for towels and key to the pool at reception. Jacuzzi wasnt working. Less than 10 mins walk to Gunwharf Quay and the historic dockyard, 5 mins walk to the train station, and about 15 mins walk to the centre of town."
