The included breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly but have limited English skills. The room is small, which is pretty standard here. However, the room is very dated. We stayed here twice and both rooms had toilet flushing problems. The bathroom seeems old. The area is in the Theatre District with every other restaurant a pizza place. We saw one steak place. Extremely busy street on weekend nights.

Fair stay
Not as impressed as others, it seems. No coffee facilities in room, and no English language TV.Outside of breakfast hours, coffee had to be paid for. Room was good, with air con, and quiet considering the outside street scene. Proximity to the centre of the city is a big plus.

Close to city center
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at ibis Obelisco. We arrived around 1 in the afternoon. We asked to store our luggage until check in, but the front desk staff checked and saw that our room was ready and allowed us to check in early. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to many restaurants, shops and attractions.

Un lugar muy lindo ubicado en el corazón del turismo de Buenos Aires, tienes muchas opciones para comer o beber que llegas caminando lo único es el tamaño de la habitación pero por su ubicación no vas a pasar en el cuarto, un staff muy amable y que te dan buenas recomendaciones para visitar!

Excellent location right in the middle of the theater district. Amazing breakfast! Clean and modern rooms. Friendly and very kind personnel. My only suggestion would be adding mini fridges in the rooms that would make the hotel perfect.

Fantastic location for an excellent price. Includes breakfast but there's many coffee shops in the area where you can do that. The room is a little tight but efficient. The only think missing, in my opinion, is a little fridge. But that's most Ibis hotels I've visited.

Good for money conscience traveller.
Ideal for 1 night stay and good value for money in the centre of B Aires with standard breakfast. If looking for more action in the evening bars and restaurants stay in Palermo Soho area. We stayed in both areas as this was our second time here.

Great budget hotel
Great hotel in the heart of the city. Easy to get everywhere. Friendly service. Great breakfast. Comfortable room, but beware the lower 4 or 5 floors and even number rooms 4 through 8, eg. 208. There's 2 gigantic neon signs across the street, although they do turn off between midnight and 8am. Neighborhood has theaters, some restos, coffee shops, and several nearby metro stations. On main street so safe- ish at night. Recommended.

Amazing value and location. Very clean and you can use the sister hotel facilities next door for the pool,garden,restaurant etc. Which was also excellent and I am speaking from a very disabled persons point of view. The buffet was not too be missed, service everywhere reception, restaurant, foyer welcomer ...because they were more than doormen, was fantastic. The location is in the heart of theatre land and a useful supermarket Carr four two blocks away. Bus stop outside central to getting around. The hotel offers great tours and transfers at very good value. I did the long tour of BA for 22 usd! Small minibus and excellent guide.
