It was my worst stay during my whole travel history.
I booked for a non smoking family room that has 2 single beds and 1 queen bed and the size of the room was 45m2. when i got there, I found out my room was given to somebody else (not sure how) with the price for the small one (25m2) and I was charged the higher money for the small size. plus the room was smelly of smoke. after 1:30 hrs of discussion and calling everybody in the hotel they said they cancel my booking and return the money.when i accepted the cancellation they changed their mind and said you can cancel but with no refund. then they felt sorry to some extent and offered me a room with extra bed free of charge but the room was smoking one, I rejected. called their boss and said this is only one room, use spry to cover the smoke from it and do not give bed for free. I must be charged for that. so all this happened after 2 hrs of discussion and my kids were sleeping in the car after a long day out. So, I accepted the room in order to talk to the manger the following morning. The next morning, i met the manager and honestly he was negative and helpless and speak poor English. what he said "you slept here yesterday in a room, today check out, take your family and luggage out and talk to your travel agent with your problem" i was shocked and decided not to burn my day and get stressed talking to such mentality. i left talked to hotel.com, talked to them, they admitted but did not compensate the different at all.
