I recommend this hotel ! I arrived hotel early about 1 pm, hoping possible early check-in. but not possible (however, receptionist said bags can leave it there until check in time 3pm) I stayed here for 2 nights and found that location, cleanliness and comfy, budget, etc..all very good. 1) literally just one step away from the busan tower and movie museum. 2) the room was very comfortable and clean. Netflix/youtube/etc.. for insiders. 3) cheaper than 4 stars hotel in the town I will choose this hotel again for next holidays.

Its was a uphill battle with luggage... but BUSAN TOWER[Busan tower Duty free..but I wont say it offered a better price compared outside], MOVIE MUSEUM its within walking distance. Dining..Fried Chicken,Pufferfish restaurant & BBQ dining is all within walking distance. SHOPPING STREET and the MARKET is also within walking distance.Its a great place and great staff. They are very helpful. No issue with luggage storing before/after check in/out.

Hotel was outdated noisy, my room was full of mosquitos and insecticide provided didn't seem to help. Bed way too hard and worst was the toilet system kept leaking all over the floor and asked staff twice to fix but they could not understand English. Also shower drain was blocked. In a great location was it saving grace. A great area of Busan to stay but there are plenty of other options in the area.

Great place to stay.
The room was comfortable and nice. The hotel was near places that we wanted to go and getting to bus stops or the subway was convenient, so it was a great location for us. The staff was helpful and kind as well.

They were friendly and even messaged me in the day to check my arrival time. The design was nice, room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and everything was clean except in the jacuzzi I found loads of hair which was disgusting... The bottom of the shower plaster was broken so the water and bubbles go across the bathroom floor... it was okay until you wanted to reach the sink, we had to step on it everytime. The toiletries in the shower were actually good, we ended up with LOADS OF bubbles everywhere and I ended up just cleaning the bathroom... It's next to Busan tower but the tower is closed for over a year..

TV didn't work upon my check-in. Power went out after I was settled in and desk clerk told me to move rooms. Then when I was 1/2 packed it came back on. Uncomfortable chairs. People smoking on non-smoking floor. Very poor lighting....I'm a reader and a writer and lighting is important to me. Poor selection of TV channels....mostly shopping channels. No TV channel listing. Room dark and drab with small window. Only plus was the sauna and hot tub in bathroom.

I love the hotel, only the location a bit up hill, making my big luggages to have tiny problem. aside from that, only the bathroom door is a glass door. unfortunate for less privacy in the bathroom.

Decent hotel near jagalchi and biff etc
Booked the room with double and single bed for family of 3. Heated floors, large bathroom with rain shower and whirl pool bathtub. They provided amenities, free WiFi, free parking, daily room cleaning, washing machine (no dryer), water dispenser on every floor, simple breakfast. Staff spoke minimal English.

More like motel than hotel
Room is big but bathing towels have holes and very over used. Tmr to change to new towels. Don’t recommend if have kids & old folks coz very sloppy for old folks. Have to climb a lot of stairs up and down whenever you want to go out. But if couple nice place to stay.

Thank you for talking about improvement. I will have plenty of new towels of good quality to reflect your point. And The stair case is.. For reference, if the room is on the third floor, (front desk is on the second floor, by the way) You can ride an elevator but usually less waiting time to use the stairs. So many people use stairs. However, when you are assigned to a third floor room, you can change the room up to the fifth floor. If you visit the next time, please tell us at the front desk and stay in the 5th floor room. ^^ I hope that next time I will have a chance to meet you in a better way. Thank you.

There’s my 2nd time visiting to Busan but first time for me to stay at Elysee hotel. I travelled with my friend and looking for a hotel nearby city center closed to underground clean and sitting safe area for me I think Elysee hotel is perfect match for us. Staff is nice and friendly overall is awesome

Modern hotel close to Busan Tower
We picked this location based on a recommendation of a friend and weren't disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. It appears to be recently renovated. Room was nice and well appointed. Bathroom is large with a nice shower and bathtub. The staff helpful and friendly. We were disappointed to find out that Busan Tower is closed for construction. But the nearby Lotte Shopping Center has a skypark with excellent views, for free.

Wonderful Stay
Stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was effortless and room amenities were way better than I expected. Though it would be good if they can provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Truly value for money and location was superb. Highly recommended!

My best hotel during my stay
The place was amazing, the double room was enormous and the shower and bathroom was spa-quality! They provided drinks for your use daily, and room service was consistent. I absolutely loved the place. The washing machine was simple to use and easy to access.

Just located inside Nampo-dong, easy for shopping. Many attraction i.e. Jachaji-Market, BIFF etc is in walking distance. Also accessible with MRT, Buses and Taxies.

When we arrived at Busan station taxi driver do not know where is the hotel even we give him the address. We Booked 2 room with 1 single+1 double bed. But was give only one. The other room was a double bed than add a push bed which make the room very small. The double bed bedsheets was dirty with stain. We stay for 3 nights bedsheets did not change at all. Will not stay this hotel anymore.

Construction Noise & No Breakfast Service
Room was as pictured and expected however we were not served breakfast as advertised since the restaurant was under renovation. They had a tiny break room with a 2 electric burner stove where you could cook eggs after waiting in a long queue and a small sink to clean up your dishes. The renovation meant lots of construction noise and the super firm bed (imagine sleeping on wood floors with a thick yoga mat) did not help us sleep through all the noise. We stayed there mid-November 2016 and the hotel-controlled-heater was blasted (~25-30 degrees C), which meant leaving the window open, which also meant more construction noise. Would have booked a different hotel if I knew all this ahead of time.

Room given was not what I paid for
Staff does not speak much English. Don't even know where the airport bus stop is. Room paid for includes breakfast but no breakfast provided for the 2 nights stayed. Bed stayed king size but was a queen size. Hotel is located on a steep slope with no proper entrance and hotel name is in Korean which took us some time to locate. Everything is not what I paid for.

Good price and location
The hotel is known by many taxi drivers, so it was easy to get there. It is very close to Nampo dong station and Busan station. The room was spacious and nice. The bathtub and shower were separate, so it was easy to clean up from the beach and then take a bath. They were, however, not timely with room cleaning or with bringing extra towels. This is what prevents me from giving a full 5 stars.

Extremely disappointed in the facilities! The location was good but the room was much to be desired especially for the price. The bed was hard! The room small, there was bug spray and room freshner's in the hall and common area which should have been a red flag. The room was supposed to be smoke free but smoke could be smelt through the vents. The bathroom had no privacy as the door was glass which we shared the room with friends and it made it awkward. The breakfast was bread [toast] and coffee. Travel Advisor reviews...hhhmmm

Stayed for 3 nights here. Room was never cleaned up by the management. I had actually requested at the reception for room clean up on the second day. It was never done. Room was not ready even though we were allowed to check in. There was leftover toothpaste from previous guest and the room was visibly not cleaned up properly prior to our stay. The management should seriously improve on this.

Good place to stay
Location is good~ Go to Nampo shopping street less than 10 mins. Lots of Money Exchange nearby. Staff is nice with good English speaking~ Room is clean. The All in one remote is really impressive. However, the TV is not working.

Excellent staff who went out of their way to help me when I had problems with my Visa card. More than happy to order taxis, advise on shopping, sights etc. Definitely going back for a holiday in July!

LOVE THIS HOTEL
the hotel was amazing. I was there two days and didn't really want to leave the room. I had my own hot tub and huge shower. When I go back I will be staying at the same hotel strongly recommend this place.

Great stay
Great hotel. Spacious room, TV was bigger than usual hotel TVs, bathroom was awesome - there's a shower-tub and a sauna. Best hotel room I've been to. Service was also great, they helped us make restaurant reservations in Seoul. Good location, it's near restaurants and shops.

Elysee is a good place to stay in!
Had an injury, so it wasn't the best of stays, but the place itself was very comforting. Stayed in a double king-sized room; the room was really big, the toilets as well (bathtub & standing shower with a sauna function), and there was even a desktop provided to link to the TV for movies. That aside, the only small issue I had was that the air-conditioner heater wasn't really heating up the room or making any noticeable heat improvements.

Relaxing Stay at Busan
Hotel located on an uphill near Nampo Metro Station. If you have big luggage, I suggest commuting to hotel by taxi as Metro system in Korea is NOT luggage friendly at all and Taxi rate in Busan is very reasonable. Hotel staff was friendly and allowed us to store our luggage in the office as we arrived before check-in time. The room comes with all amenities you could think of & more; mini fridge with free water & juices, tea kettle, coffee & tea, bug spray for summer and even a sauna within the shower stall.

Good hotel rate and great location
Mr Son,the previous highly regarded owner has sold this hotel & the new owner isn't as helpful & lacked knowledge. I had problem getting directions & recommendations because they don't really speak English. Bed was very hard but room was quite clean.

We ,an older couple enjoyed our stay in this area of Busan as it was close to most places of interest and if you don't mind hills it was in walking distance to station, Lotte, fish markets, restaurants and harbour. People in this area were very friendly. The hotel was at the end of a steep climb but inside the rooms were comfortable and large enough. The hotel owner was very obliging and sent information via email to allow you to get to the hotel easily no matter what your mode of transport was. He was very fluent in English, a plus in Busan. If you like coffee there are numerous coffee shops within 50 metres. Money exchange was readily available but you needed to shop around to get a reasonable rate with Aussie dollars. The bullet train took a little over three hours from Seoul to Busan. It travels at a top speed of 302 KM per hour and runs every 40 minutes or so.
