Very nicely decorated lobby and room. The bed was very comfy, I was pleasantly surprised at the springy mattress and soft cotton sheets! Sound proofing was good as well, I cant hear anything from the next room. The staff are super smiley and friendly. In the daytime, you may hear some bells from the nearby place of worship. Also the toilet shares a sliding door with the shower, so you cant close both the shower and the toilet doors at the same time. There's another wall in front of the shower...

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. In particular, Kumar who was manning the front of the house and check-in was most accommodating and left an indelible impression on us with his generosity and making the stay most memorable.

If you appreciate the history, literary and literal, of Raffles Hotel in Singapore, and project it to Penang, you're "there" at the Seven Terraces. The location is excellent. Most places walkable. The staff are most attentive to the needs of the guest. We were made to feel like part of of family. Albert in particular went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. Eddy was the consummate host. A most memorable stay.

Convenient location, everything is very new and staff is exceptional. One thing to note for the cleaners is to clean the hidden corners next to the wardrobe- I dropped a piece of clothing and collected all the dust

Newly establish hotel, pretty room interior design, relaxing infinity pool after a hot day of exploring, staff were polite and friendly, walking distance to Georgetown tourist attractions.

Nice hotel and location very convenient

We stayed here two nights (23+24 June 2014) while on a round trip in Malaysia. This hotel is pricey compared to the other hotels/B&B in the neighborhood, but its definitely worth the price. The hotel looks like the pictures and has very nice calm over it. Service is great, we didn't had a refrigerator in the room but they just put a mini refrigerator in the room since we had something to celebrate! Service at the Jawi Peranakan is first rate - very prompt, attentive and yet unobtrusive from all the staff. Guests feel most welcomed.
