DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Very old. Next to bar which played OUTSIDE LOUD music until 4:00am 5 nights of the week. Couldn't sleep at all. Should be out of business unless the bar closes. Old beds, fixtures, windows, .... No restaurant. TERRIBLE HOTEL. Left after 1 night!!! Rate 0 out of 10

Despite the disco, a great little hotel
I almost cancelled before I checked in when I saw the disco, six nights a week, next door. However, the friendly receptionist Sabina gave me a room furthest away and I never heard it my two nights. The trade-off was a loud humming noise outside my room from what I guess was a water pump or heating. All that said, it is a nice little hotel. Friendly staff, water refill, big room, super clean and good wifi.

Fantastic Hotel thats located perfectly in the middle of downtown Cancun. Great vibe, nice pool, fantastic staff.. Highly recommend for singles, couples, families..

El tv estaba en malas condiciones los aires condicionados también estaban malo el personal sin saber qué hacer y diciendo que se les sale de la manos el amenitis es solo un jabón muy caro y muy pobre de verdadera atención al cliente

Good location and price
The hotel is close to the ADO bus terminal and restaurants and shops. The rooms are accessible from an outer corridor and the locks were a little flimsy. The room and bathroom were dated but overall clean and tidy.

Hotel wants you to pay for the included breakfast
Hotel advertised that breakfast was included After I pay they tell me that they don’t serve breakfast because of Covid19 I ask where I can get my breakfast They say at restaurant just around the corner This is all fine But they wanted me to pay!!! I say that I pay already But they don’t care I contact Hotel.com to have a refund But Hotels.com only want to give me a 5$ USD Coupon or day Very bad service from both Hotels.com didn’t care about that I have gold status with them

last days, we removed the information that breakfast was included, this was for a Mexican government arrangement. if you enter the Carrillo’s home page or Expedia, the information is not there, it was removed by this same provision.

Very very clean room, everything inside the room works that also including A/C, very convenient location - everything is a only a step away including ADO bus terminal, R1, R2 buses, mercado 28, OXXO, cheap places to eat.

Great hotel in Cancun centre.
Beautiful old hotel with interior rooms overlooking the courtyard pool. Breakfast isn’t much, but the coffee is great and is endless. Staff Very accomodating, I speak no Spanish but they have English speaking staff.

We paid for a night at this hotel online, showed up at the hotel and they said we had to pay again. Such a scam so we went to another hotel.

Great for the price
Don't stay here if you don't know spanish well, or if you're not willing to walk/take a bus, or if you're looking for a resort type of Cancun stay. That being said, this was a great place to stay for us. Our room got cleaned every day, we always got fresh towels, and we really enjoyed the restaurants across the street from our hotel. We wanted something affordable since we were barely going to be at the hotel. We would wake up at 6am, go out on excursions, and return at around 10pm at night. I wouldn't recommend staying here by yourself because it can get a little intimidating at night, but there were three of us and we were never scared for our lives - just cautious (as you should always be at night). The beds were comfortable and the AC was great and we enjoyed our stay here.

It is an old property. We were apparently offered a large discount off the regular price. At the price we paid the hotel was adequate. If we had paid the full price we would have been disappointed. The "breakfast" was the worst we have ever had. A choice of cold toast, butter and jam or cornflakes. Not even knives to spread the butter and jam, just spoons. Probably would not go back.

When the hotel was booked, your booking page showed the rate of $32.00 per night, and they would not accept US Dollars, and they charged Mexico Peso of 598.92 per night. On April 20, the exchange rate in the airport was 14.75 peso per US dollar and the local rate in downtown 17.15 peso per US dollar. The hotel was asked why their rate is higher than all, why the charge could not paid with US dollar. They did not give a resonable answer. You may answer of my questions, and I will not stay no more and tell others. I felt like they chided their customer to over charged. I may put this story on Face Book.

Not worth it
Always looking for good value hotels - but this wasn't it. That is was clean enough and a short walk from the bus station are the only redeeming features. Winessed a robbery one street over. Staff was disinterested and checkin took 10 minutes. Could hear adjacent bathroom like it was in our suite. Continental breakfast was the worst I've seen (and I've seen some bad ones): other guests walked in, saw it, chortled, and walked straight out. Would not stay again.
