"ALL excellent "

"Typically I like to stay at more local, smaller hotels but for several reasons (a big one was that we needed an extra bed for our daughter) a corporate chain was a better choice for this particular trip. The Marriott Holyrood is definitely a corporate hotel, not a lot of personality and on a boring street. But it honestly was a great experience. The room was big (junior suite), reasonably priced, super quiet, very comfortable, beds were great, breakfast was excellent (not just buffet - there's a menu you can order from). If you have access to the M suite there are snacks and drinks there free of charge. I actually didn't use the gym or pool, didn't have the time, but they both looked great. And most of all, the staff was so friendly and kind and helpful. I actually left some things in the room in a rush to check out and they secured them for me for several days until I could retrieve them. Great experience."

"The location of the hotel is unrivalled. Literally step out the train station and you're there. The Front Desk staff were incredibly helpful. We were a little early arriving so they kindly looked after our luggage for us. When we returned they remembered our names, checked us in and our luggage was already safely in our room. We had also received a complimentary upgrade. The room was incredible, spotless and cosy. We also ordered room service breakfast for the next day which had a huge range of options, arrived bang on the time requested and was delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again. "

"The best thing about this place is its right in the middle of old town making accessible to all the itineraries via walking. Staff were super nice too. The only thing that I have to say is, we were there for 4 nights and asked them to change our bedsheets, they always said okey but never changed them 😂😂😂"
