"Prefect spot for a one night trip to SD with the family. The staff at the front was quick and nice. The rooms were shockingly big. We had a small patio with a partial view. We were going to legoland and the hotel was super close by. I loved it was right next to downtown Carlsbad. We will definitely be back."

"We got the junior suite which we very enjoyed. Room is spacious and clean. Front desk staff Denise was very nice and professional. Strong enough Wifi and great organization on Easter Day with egg hunting events for kids. We didn’t participate but we enjoyed the view and liveliness of it. One down side, we requested amenities but didn’t receive service after a long wait. I had to ask the housekeeping team in the morning for things I asked for the night before."

"I knew the hotel was close to the highway but wasn’t prepared for how loud the road noise was even in the room with the doors closed. We were told no other rooms were available, (and discovered our room phone was non-functional when trying to call the office). We also had loud neighbors with poor soundproofing between the rooms and a large group hanging out loudly in the courtyard at midnight. So, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Book a pool view room as those are set further back from the highway. My kid enjoyed the pool, and the Windmill Food Hall was convenient next door. "

"It was really an okay hotel, nothing fancy. But great value for the price. We booked a suite with 1 king bed and a bunk bed. It had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Very impressed with the space. Room was facing the highway, so was really noisy. But we were tired from the long day at the Legoland park, so did not mind. Also rooms are a bit outdated, but everything worked and was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast had nice variety. Advice- try to wake up early to breakfast. It gets crazy crowded after 8am on weekends. Overall- good value for the price!"

"We stayed with children they loved it because of the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The only downside is that ww stayed on the second floor and you can hear everything above us.. other than that we all enjoyed our stay"
