"the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....

"This apartment is a great base to explore polignano a mare. It is clean and well located. However, the staff do not speak any English and there is much to be desired in terms of organisation. We had to wait 2 hours to have access to our room from check in time. We had to adjust our plans to facilitate this and had to wait nearby with all of our luggage. "We had a splendid time during our two-night stay. Wished we stayed longer. Giardino dei Trulli Tenute was a perfect place for us after a long day of going around Matera, Alberobello and Bari Vecchia.
The cosy trullo where we stayed is situated within the farm that gave us a genuine experience of its fascinating history.
Breakfast was included. It was in a two thousand year old structure that used to be a barn. It was really beautiful!
Angelica was very warm and welcoming. Her family and staff were very nice as well. They serve farm fresh produce like milk, cheese and meat.
