However, no one asked us to register, people were very relaxed about paperwork and didn't seem aware of our stay as we hqd to confirm it many yltimes. Staff helped ua load our vehicles and took our keys but nevwe asked to settle the bill. About an hoir later while we were well on our way, they called to ask us to pay. We gqve them our visa number and info but the demanded a cheque, money transfer or cash. Terrible. My nephew who had hia wedding...

"the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....
