"This apartment is a great base to explore polignano a mare. It is clean and well located. However, the staff do not speak any English and there is much to be desired in terms of organisation. We had to wait 2 hours to have access to our room from check in time. We had to adjust our plans to facilitate this and had to wait nearby with all of our luggage. We also had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come and unlock the parking lot where we paid 20€ through the b&b to park our car the morning...
"First I will acknowledge that the owner helped us the first day with the air conditioner. The air conditioner, only cool, living and kitchen area and hallway. Very little gets into the two bedrooms we had to have the floor fan on. Which means they must know it doesn't cool the rooms because if not, they wouldn't have the floor fans. "the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....

"From the beginning, we got there they attended to every day they grabbed our bags, helped us at the reception desk gave us a beautiful room and wanted to do whatever we needed them to do. The staff was above and beyond the dinner was very close to being a top level restaurant. The breakfast was plentiful every morning. I think I was impressed that they always knew my name and they were easy to help us whenever we had an issue overall, I’m giving it a five star experience. I was so excited to say this because we came out of a hotel that only earned one star"

"This property is beautiful and peaceful. You definitely need a car to access it as it not a walkable area. With a rental car it’s great. The food was good, pool was cool but nice (pretty deep, so maybe hard with little kids). Gym was tiny (just for one person at a time) but well stocked. Overall I recommend for a peaceful, quiet getaway."
