"Turi is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful city with lots of good restaurants, and we enjoyed our one night stay in the luxurious apartment, followed by a complimentary breakfast in a nearby cafe. This experience is much more authentic than our stays in the big hotel chains, and the owner made sure to provide free parking for us as well. "

Giardino dei Trulli Tenute was a perfect place for us after a long day of going around Matera, Alberobello and Bari Vecchia. "the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....

"Beautiful and authentic location surrounded by olive trees. The setting is truly charming and peaceful. The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room — even after asking, we had to go downstairs to the reception each time to get hot water. Also, the mattress was a bit too authentic (an old, creaky bed with a worn-out mattress)."
