"Gorgeous hotel! Pristine place . The rooms, pools, landscaping, cleanliness, comfort, staff are all incredible. Only cons are that it’s not near anything. You need a car to get around. They offer golf cart shuttle to a convenience store to grab food or drinks. The menu is limited at the hotel restaurant. No tip option on hand pay machines so bring cash . They can’t make small change so it’s a bit inconvenient. We ran out small bills then couldn’t tip anymore. No nightly entertainment either. It was a very quiet place when we came. My daughter and I had the pools to ourselves. It was lovely. Peaceful and no people. "

"Listen….. I’ve stayed at a few Secrets (and hotels related to the brand) over the past few years, and I’d have to say that THIS was probably BY FAR THE BEST Secrets I’ve stayed in. From arrival…to check in…to being upgraded at no cost…to having your own concierge that makes sure you’re okay and keeps you up to date with the daily activities…to the rooms….to the restaurants/food options…the spa…the beach club…ALL OF IT! Top tier!!! I was sad to return back to reality after having such a great NYE vacation. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Tulum! Thank you to all the staff for your professionalism and hospitality! "

"Phenomenal experience at Amari. We had a group of 4 in one of their STUNNING villas, everything there is carefully thought out and very comfortable. Their complimentary shuttle service was a huge plus in navigating tulum taxis/traffic, and the entire team of staff (big shoutout to Charlie!) went above and beyond to make our stay a dream. The food at the restaurant and the massages we all got were also wonderful. Such a relaxing few days, we will absolutely be coming back to this paradise. "We had a lovely time at Una vida. We had reserved the one bedroom suite via Expedia in which photographs had shown a bathtub however our suite did not have a bathtub. We inquired with the staff and the following day we were switched to another one bedroom suite which did have both the shower and a bath as we had been looking forward to. Other than this, the room was excellent, very clean. The staff were very attentive and kind. The best part is the yoga type classes available at Bardo at no extra cost. We visited late December and thus seemed less busy at this time so the complex was quiet. The pools are lovely particularly the accessible Bardo pool. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Una vida if your looking for a relaxing stay in walking distance of downtown Tulum. "

"The luxury 2 queen room was so surprisingly extra spacious with its uber high ceilings, and no unit was on top of us on the ground floor. The grounds are immaculate, and the rooftop garden was surprising. The free breakfast was great as well - were pleasantly surprised there was a free made to order entree and not just buffet style."

The path to the villas was breathless and definitely recommend this hotel just know you are not close the breach but rather the town and there is a coffee shop named Aroma Café 5 minutes walking which was amazing.
