"The lobby of the hotel is very nice with a decent restaurant and bar. The location is excellent as it's right in the heart of downtown Monterey and a short walk to Cannery Row. My biggest complaint is that the beds and the pillows are not very good."

"Being unfamiliar with the Pismo Beach area, I picked the wrong place for what I wanted to experience there. I was looking for easy beach access, this hotel was on a bluff, I had wanted to hear waves crashing and instead I heard the highway traffic. I didn't see any close places for breakfast in the morning and we we were told that the restaurant at Spyglass was closed. Therefore we didn't spend much time at our almost $500 room, we went downtown and ate, shopped, and walked the beach. That's where I will book a room next time."

"When we got to our room is was clean but right about we could tell it had termites in the whole building. The view was ok but the rail was not sturdy. The elevator was broken and that sucked because we were in the 3rd floor. The walls where to thin you could hear everything from next door and people waking up n down the stairs ."

"No onsite parking but public parking guide available at reception. Located a 5 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf, not to be confused with Cannery Row which is 1 mile up the road. Clean room and helpful staff!"
