"This is my second year staying at this place and it’s always been great. The restaurant and small store at the location is really convenient. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the staff there are always very welcoming and on top of it. The small store has a little bit of everything which is convenient when you forget to pack something or need a snack/drink. The rooms have always been clean and I have never had an issue with any noise or other people staying at the place. In fact, I have met some really kind people just by hanging out at the hot tub. This location is also nearby the downtown/gaslamp area/ beaches and the Uber rides are at a reasonable price. I plan to continue to stay here for the upcoming trips I have to San Diego. "

"We appreciate the check-in procedure with one of your great staff named Aronze. She made the check-in procedure convenient. We did not avail ourselves of having our rooms cleaned for the three days we stayed. However, we did ask for additional towels and paper cups which a maintenance person cleaning other rooms graciously gave us. Regarding the safe box in the room - it doesnt work (it kept indicating/flashing CLOSED). I know I could have asked for it to be fixed but we are busy/on a schedule and dont have the time to wait for a repair person. We like the convenient location of the hotel to nearby restaurants, bakeries, and shops. This is why I chose this particular Marriott. Thank you for asking our opinion regarding our Marriott stay. "
