"very nice would say again, except for the parking garage was a nightmare. The walls are too Narrow . Very scary."

"We were assigned a room on the second floor that SMELLED like dirty feet. We sprayed it ourselves and couldn’t get rid of the stench. The room was dark and dreary. The window faced the parking lot and a set of stairs that led who know where. But day and night people would open the gate to the stairs and it would slam. No conditioner in the bathroom, I requested one and didn’t realize till I showered next that the delivered body wash, not conditioner. I had to request the conditioner again. The smell was awful in the room. They shouldn’t use that room unless they replace the rug. If you book this hotel request an upper floor! Closet little Italy but close to a lot of homeless people."

"When checking in on Thursday I asked for a late checkout on Saturday because I work Saturday morning and fly home that afternoon. Checkout was 11am. I get off work at 11am and work 10 minutes from this hotel. The person said to ask the morning of departure. Because I leave for work Saturday morning at 6am, I ask on Friday if someone will be in the office at 5am. They said yes and that that person can help me out. I called the office at 5:15am Saturday but after I pushed the button to the front desk, the line went silent. I tried a few times too. I walked to the office and the receptionist said no, at 5:30am. She said she couldn’t make that decision. It was the morning staff that comes in at 7am that makes that decision. She also said it also depends on what housekeeping says. In the 14+ years I’ve been coming to San Diego for work this is the first time I’ve been denied a late checkout. Even at this hotel. I always ask when checking in too. Some hotels will note it on check-in. Luckily, someone at the event let me use their hotel room to shower. I don’t think I’ll be staying at the Best Western Seven Seas again. "

"They gave me a different room we paid for a sofa bed,and we didn’t get one, I called the front desk and they didn’t believe we didn’t have one, they sent security to check the room, they moved us to a 2 queen bed which was fine, one light didn’t work and kept turning on all night, we had to get up to turn it of 5 times, place was clean, parking is very tight but is a garage so your car will be safe, food is ok, usual hotel menu. "
