"Tony and his team were amazing. They were able to make our stay unforgettable. Plus, their pizza and pisco sour were amazing. And to end the day, you get to see the stars with the best view."

"Beautiful room, staff was very helpful. Gardens around the facility were amazing inviting lots of birds. Saw at least two species of hummingbirds here.
Was a bit of a trek from the train station, clear across town but the ambience was worth it. "

"Nice place run by a kind and helpful couple. Close to the centre of town, but quiet.
It’s not possible to drive up to the hotel by car, but it’s just a short walk.
Nice view of ruins and mountains from the window. "

"Our room was very clean and had an amazing view. This friendly, family-run hotel made us feel right at home. Jorge, the host, was kind and helpful - he went out of his way to assist us when my partner and I were both feeling unwell. We’re incredibly grateful for his hospitality. Highly recommend!

"We loved our stay at El Albergue! First off, we were very happy that we decided to stay in Ollantay during our visit to Machu Piccu (rather than Agua Calientes) which is an incredible location in its own right, with beautiful old town, great restaurants, and fantastic archeologic sites. El Albergue is located at the train station which made if very convenient, but also a romantic old-school vibe which we appreciated. We did also take advantage of their distillery and coffee experience and loved both. The staff here were so kind and helpful, couldn't have asked for better. The room was large, clean and comfortable and everything worked great. We ate at the restaurant one night and thought the food was great. We didn't find the sounds of the trains overly intrusive, but we did look for a room facing away from the tracks and that is probably a good idea.. Highly recommend this hotel!"
"Great location Owner and wife very accommodating, wonderful fresh breakfast, great eggs, bread, fresh juice, coffee. Everything was wonderful. Clean rooms, good beds, nice hot water in shower, great location."
"The staff were very helpful and tentative.
Room was clean and efficient.
Close to the train station was helpful with plenty of taxis to assist if wanted."
"Humantay Lodge was a great experience from start to finish. The owner clearly takes pride in the place and it shows in the service and the overall atmosphere. The breakfast options were excellent and the staff was friendly and welcoming. René, who works at the hotel, even became my tour guide for a day. I had great conversations with him and appreciated his hospitality.
The rooms are small but very quaint, comfortable, and perfect for the setting. The lodge is not right in the center of town, which I actually loved because it felt peaceful and tucked away. I really enjoyed the feel of this beautiful place and would absolutely stay here again."
