I had great conversations with him and appreciated his hospitality. The rooms are small but very quaint, comfortable, and perfect for the setting. The lodge is not right in the center of town, which I actually loved because it felt peaceful and tucked away. I really enjoyed the feel of this beautiful place and would absolutely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol. Maylin in particular was super friendly, patient, and always willing to help when we needed directions or had questions getting around. She made everything a lot easier. There was also a man who helped us with our bags as soon as we got off the train. He was incredibly welcoming and set a really good first impression for the hotel. The room was comfortable and the location was great. A beautiful view of the river running along the rear of the hotel greeted us from our room. The only thing I wished we had known ahead of time is that if you turn the thermostat all the way down, it can freeze up when it’s humid and cause a big leak when it melts. Not a huge deal, but it would’ve been nice to get a heads-up. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back. "

"Everything was lovely and the staff were great. I had a free day and asked what I could do nearby. I ended up having a lovely morning with Audry (member of staff) who cycled with me (hotel bicycle) to a nearby archaeological site where we had a walk around. Extra thanks to Audry for talking in English and making my stay special. "
