"Hi - it was one of the warmest days this year and the room, having had the afternoon sun was warm. The aircon switch was high up and I had to climb on the furniture to switch it on. Then, the batteries in the remote were almost flat. The batteries in the tv remote were also almost flat. Both were not easy to get working."

"A friend and I stayed here as we are walking the Pilgrims Way. A fantastic find. Friendly staff, really nice and cosy rooms, quiet at night. Had dinner in the bar, lovely food and great service. As other reviews say, breakfast was a bit slow, possibly the kitchen not the service staff as they seemed on the ball. Breakfast was v tasty anyway when we did get it. Overall definitely recommend "
